Dani's pov

Apparently me and kida haven't been talking for the past 2 weeks. I really miss him and the dance lessons were shut down for some reason I don't know why *luckily *. I woke up to the sound of my phone getting a call. When I checked it was kida (a smile popped out), I answered

The call -
Kida :morning
Dani : morning, how have you been doing lately?
Kida : good I just have been missing you, what about you
Dani : (blushing) ohhh well I missed you too, and I'm good
Kida :so I wanted to know if you can meet me at the beach later on
Dani : cool what time
Kida : I'm serious please don't bail out on me again
Dani : (laughs) Yeah I wont but why
Kida : (low deep voice) I wanna tell you something important at 13:00 at then beach
Dani : yeah it is but then why don't you tell me what you wanna say now
Kida : I can't say it now i have to tell you in person, promise you'll be there
Dani : ok cool I promise I will be there.
Kida : cool it's a date
Dani : (blushes) yeah cool
Kida : Bye Didi
Dani : (giggles) don't call me that, I will murder you.
The call ended -

Kida hung up. I just realized I was blushing through out the whole call😍, I quickly ran to my best friends house. When I got there I saw Aariyah (my best friend )

Aariyah's pov
HI I am Aariyah, Aari for short, I am 14 years old. I was born in Sacramento my birthday is on the 30th of August. I met Danielle in New York city when I was visiting my aunt 2 years ago from then we became besties

Dani's pov
Dani : (excited ) hey Aariyah
Aariyah: (confused ) hey why you so happy
Dani : (shoutes) dude I'm going on a date!!!
Aariyah: okay, you know what just get in and tell me the story.

I got in and explained what happened. She reached out a big smile on her face

Aariyah : (shouts) so you have a crush on him
Dani: Dude, no man never, why would I have a crush on him aargh man
Aariyah : okay but since you here I'm gonna give you a makeover
Dani : ok, cool no makeup and make me look simple
Aariyah : 🤨🤔~how is it a makeover with no make up~

Aariyah and I went to her room. She picked out my outfit from her closet which was :royal blue jeans;a long sleeve baby pink crop top;a slot chef red shirt(tied around my waist) and high top Timberlands but my hair was left curly, so I technically looked like zendaya. I could stop thinking of what kida wanted to say.

*12:00*

Aariyah and I got ready to go to the beach(she was just walking with me). When we got there it was 12:30

Aariyah : Good luck baby girl
Dani : thanks I'm really nervous
Aariyah : Don't be nervous just be yourself, I'm sure he will fall the real you.
Dani : what do you mean.
Aariyah : nothing bye love
Dani : bye🤨

Aariyah left me and went back home, but at least she was there to stand up for me. I sat on the bench waiting for kida to arrive while listening to music(tempo ft Chris Brown).

I headed to the beach wearing a country side jacket black vest: black torn jeans and my black and whiteJordan's. I just wanted to impress her and tell her something really important. When I got there I saw her sitting on the bench looking cute... Then I decided to call her

The call - (while walking to her)

Kida : hey
Dani : hey where are you it's 13:05 now
Kida : Don't worry about that
Dani : Okay fine then I'm leaving now bye
Kida: Bu...

She hung up then I quickly ran to her before she left, when I caught up to her she just starred at me.

Kida : (breathless) Sorry I was just messing around with you
Dani : (stares at him) 😐
Kida : what
Dani : nothing so what did you wanna tell me?
Kida : okay, but before that let's take a walk on beach
Dani : Cool
