Chapter 5

Dani's pov
Kida stared at me and I stared back. He stood up again and took my hands (I was honestly shaking), but luckily we were the only ones in Starbucks.

Kida : okay so look Danielle ummm...
Dani : Say it don't be scared.
Kida : okay well I've developed feelings for you and like I was just wondering if you would like to be my girlfrie..
Dani : whoa....

~🤦‍♀️why did I just say that~

Dani : kida sorry man but then I can't be your girlfrie...

Before I could finish a glass of water fell onto the flour and kida walked away.

Kida's pov
I honestly didn't know she was gonna reject me like that. Luckily the glass fell it was my opportunity to walk away, so I decided to walk to the bathroom. I was so depressed and heartbroken, tears were going down my eyes and I was just leaning on the bathroom door,until I heard footsteps walking towards  the door.

Dani : (shouts) kida please come out gimme a chance to talk please
Kida: (low voice ) okay wait im using the bathroom
Dani: dude don't lie to me!

I ignored her cause I wanted to get back to my senses. She really broke my heart, I felt like leaving her there and going home but I couldn't... She is the love of my life.

Dani's pov
As soon as the glass fell I saw kida take a step back as If he wanted to faint then I saw a drop of tears go down his cheek. I felt so bad. Kida finally got out after a while and sat opposite me while staring at me in anger. I stared back into his blood shot red eyes. I felt so mad at myself cause I mean I really did want him to be mine. I moved closer to him although he didn't bother looking at me.

Dani: okay look I know your angry at me but it's not that I don't like you it's just that I don't date... Sorry (a tear drops)
Kida: (low deep voice) so you do like me
Dani: I don't know
Kida: you just can't say you don't know tell me the truth please (turns to face me)
Dani: I honestly don't know but may we please atleast take this slow if it's cool with you
Kida: (a cute smile pops out) yeah it's cool

He reached out and gave me the best hug I've ever had in my life

Kida : You look cute when you cry
Dani : thanks, come let's go home it's about 16:30
Kida : ok but wait I wanted to ask if you could be there at the airport on Sunday (it's Friday) at 10:00
Dani : Yeah sure come lets get our things
Kida : ok let's go

We took things and headed out, down kida got us a Uber to go home with

Kida's pov                               *in the car*

We waited for about 30 minutes for a Uber but luckily it got here about 17:00. I was looking at Danielle and she really looked pretty. She was clearly the only one that was singing through out the whole car. Then a song from the early 2000 started playing (I dont know the songs name)

Dani : (singing) ohh baby I love you.
Kida: (singing ) all I think about is you.
Dani % kida: (singing ) even if I'm with my boo all I think about is you.. Ohhh

After a while Beyonce #halo started playing

Dani : (singing ) everywhere I'm looking now. I'm surrounded by your embrace. Baby I can feel your halo, you know you my saving grace

Although some of it she was singing it wrong but she had a nice soft voice. I quickly leaned in and gave her a kiss on her chick, I could see she was blushing but just did not wanna show it. We finally arrived at her house she got out and so did I. We reached by the door and started to talk

Dani : thank you for such a wonderful time
Kida : it's my pleasure, by the way you deserved it.
Dani : (confused ) what
Kida : nothing nevermind
Dani : mxm
Kida : (laughs)
Dani : (giggles) So yeah bye see you at the airport
Kida : okay bye.. Wait please can I have a kiss before I go.
Dani : okay cool (she leans in and gives him a kiss but then on the chick)

While she leaned in i gave her a cuddle that she would never forget.

Kida :bye DeeDee

Dani : Bye
