Chapter 3

~end of last period~

I was walking out of school to the car when my brother shouted "HEY MAE COME HERE" I turned and walked over to the boys

"What's up?" I asked, confused as to why we where not going home

"We all have practice and Milo has study so you are gonna have to come watch us, you can either watch me, Tyler or Leo?" I was thinking,

Tyler played Lacross, Leo played basketball and Anthony played Football

"Anthony I'll come with you" I stated,

I loved football and I was really good at it, even Anthony was impressed but they never let me try out for the team even though girls are welcome to try out, it was annoying really, I got stuck doing gymnastic and don't get me wrong I like it but I chose to do it when I was young and my brothers won't let me quit.

I followed Anthony and went to the bleachers where I would have to sit for an hour.

"Hey Mae" I hear someone whisper I looked around but couldn't see anyone anywhere.

"psst Mae" I looked around again when I felt someone grab my ankle, I yelped rather loudly and looked down to see Vincent under the bleachers,

I must have yelled louder than I thought because the whole team where looking up at me from the pitch so I just waved and smiled and they went back to practice

"What' the hell Vincent" I whisper yelled back to him,

"Come down here for a sec would ya" he asked casually

"I can't my brother will see me leave" I stated in a duh tone.

"For Gods sake Mae stop worrying for one sec would you and come here" he said in a rather stern tone.

"Fine I'll wait till he is doing drills so he is distracted" he huffed and stayed quiet

~5 minutes later~

I stood up from the bleachers and snuck underneath completely undetected and I was kind of shocked at what I saw,

Vincent was sat there with some other kids, one I recognised from detention, and they were all vaping, some where smoking but Vincent was vaping.

"Umm Vincent?" I asked cautiously feeling a bit uncomfortable, he looked up and realised I was there before standing up and coming over

"Hey Mae glad you could finally make it" he said "come.sit" and he took me by the wrist to an old bench he sat down but I stayed up

"What are you doing?" I confronted him "and why am I here" I demanded

"You looked bored so I thought we could hang out" he said calmly as he inhaled in a mouthful of smoke, he yanked me next to him and before I could speak he blew the smoke out onto my face causing me to flinch and cough.

"What the fuck" I said but not angrily more like confused

"Sorry Mae I shouldn't of done that but you looked so lonely up there you need to live a little and forget about you brothers" he chuckled but he was right

"It's ok, I suppose you right" I sighed and sat down next to him

"So what do you do down here?" I asked

"chill" some tall, tanned boy with a beanie and an eyebrow piercing said... he was quite good looking actually, but no match for Vincent.

"Oh ok" I said and looked at the ground

"Here let me introduce you, we have Nick" he said pointing to the guy who previously spoke.

"Jess" he gestured towards a tall black haired girl with streaks of pink in it, she was wearing a leather black skater skirt a white cami, leather jacket and some combat boots, I liked her style and she was pretty
