Chapter 6

Masons P.O.V

After lunch we go to classes and I wait till the end of the day, I told Vincent to pick me up from mine to go to the mall at 6:30 giving me a chance over dinner to ask Jack for permission.

I'm waiting by Anthony's car when he walks out with my brothers and Vincent "Hey sis, I invited Vincent round for dinner is that ok?" I cannot imagine this going well, This is definitely a trap.

"Of course it is your welcome over anytime" I take my chance and I shoot for it,

"Hey Anthe can I ride home with Vincent then if he's coming to ours?" I pout

"I don't think Vincent wants you to bother him, he'll have to deal with you all night" he says kind of rudely

"No I don't mind at all, come on snow" there we go he did it again, he walks past me and to his car

"See ya back at the house Anthe" I shout as I walk to Vincent's beautiful car and climb in leaving Anthony in awe.

"You know this isn't going to go well and will 100% end up in confrontation" I informed Vincent he nodded

"I know but it wouldn't be fair to let you do it alone since I sort of put you in this mess, by choosing you" he what, what did he just say "choosing me?" I relay trying to stay calm,

"I saw you practically knocked out on the ground looking beautiful and helpless, I thought you were perfect and as I have gotten to know you your personality is to die for. I know you have probably hear about how I have a bad reputation and it isn't all true, yes I smoke, but only sometimes I mostly vape, you know that, it's releaves my stress"
I knew I wasn't the only one

"I've never done any drugs apart from smoke weed once and I hated it, so anything you hear about that is a lie. I drink but not excessively only at parties and events and maybe if I'm a little sad but I'm entitled. I used to get in fights, skip school a lot which is why I was sent here after being kicked out, it was my last chance. I was expecting to come here and do the same but I found a reason I want to stay and that reason has made me change for the better" he says whilst never taking his eyes if the road

"me?" I gasped

"You!, you did all that and I'm forever thankful" he squeezed my thigh.

"You do realise we met yesterday morning" I scoffed

"Yep, doesn't change a thing I have just said"
"Oh" is all I can squeeze out.

He reaches his and out and intertwines his fingers with mine, brings my hand to his mouth and kisses it. Shockwaves went through me as the softness of his lips brushed against my hand. The rest of the way home we held hands and sat in silence but not an awkward silence, a comfortable silence.

We pulled up to my house being the last ones to arrive and I just knew that they where inside feeding bad information to Jack and Liam. We walked up to the door, hands still locked together I opened it and we split apart, back to reality,

I walked into the house. Smiled at Vincent and went upstairs to my room and sat for a bit, did some homework.

"MAE DINNERS READY" Jack shouted so I got up and went down stairs, I sat next to Vincent,

"Nope. There" Jack said pointing at he seat across from Vincent I huffed and rolled my eyes

"Watch the attitude" Jack states "sorry" I mumbled and we started to eat the Lasagne he made.

"so..." Jack said, here we go "what's this I hear about some new friends"

"Oh I have been making more friends at school and we have gotten quite close" I smiled
