*Annas' POV*
Who did he think he was! I slammed my front door and stomped upstairs with my arms crossed
"Lock your door sweetheart xx"
I scoffed and sighed loudly. Quicly heading back downstairs and locking the door.
F.ucking w.anker! He had to ruin the night by messing with me! I quickly took a shower and went straight to bed.
"Doctor Mills!" I quickly turned my head to see one of the nurses' speed walking towards me
"Karen, how can I help?" I turn my whole body around to face the woman
"Now I know it's your break but could you pretty please go check up on this patient?" She looked desperate and was practically trying to catch her breath
"Sure, what ward?" I sigh indefeat, She grins happily before handing me a clipboard
"Oh my god thank you! you saved my life girly, she's in Ward C" The maternity unit? that's an usual place for me
I look down onto the clip board observing the information. I looked at the blank spaces indicating I had to get those done before continuing my other check-ups
I clutch the clipboard tightly as I sigh loudly. This job is killing me at the moment. I walk in the halls of Ward C, looking out for the room number of the particular patient.
107, 108, 109
I knock lightly on the door before opening it slowly
"Mrs Walker, My name is doctor Anna Mills, Your original doctor is out at the moment but I will be filling in, I hope you are okay with that" I smile sweetly at her
"That's fine honestly" What a good soul
"Glad to hear that Mrs Walker" I walk over to her bed fixing her pillows up making it more comfortable
"Please call me Kimberly" She says warmly shifting her body to a better position
"If you say so Kimberly" I say grinning at her, I quickly step out the door dragging the equipment in with me
"Please extend your arm Darling" I grab the blood pressure cuff and wrap it tightly around her bicep just above her elbow
"Is that okay? no too tight?" I ask her
"Its fine dear" She beams at me, I nodd and continue to supply the pump with air
"You have a great blood pressure result" I quickly wrote it down
"It says here I need to check your blood" She nodds
suddenly the door opened
"Hey Kim, Do you know whe- " My mouth hung open for a few seconds before closing it, There stood Kyle looking incredible as always
"Kyle sit down" Kimberly says with a frown, he nodds and sits down without taking his eyes off me
"uh Mrs Walker p-please relax" I stuttered, I quickly put my gloves on and tried to find a vein to put the needle in
I dipped a cotton ball into some alcohol and applied it on the spot needed before grabbing the needle.
The piercing stare of Kyle made me nervous. I took a gulp and gently pushed the needle into Kims' arm
"Is that okay? not too sore?" I ask her as the little cylinder filled with blood
"Its fine honest"
"okay, I'll get someone to send these off and i'll get back to you as soon as possible about your results" I smile at her and applied a bandaid on the wound and stood up. I put the blood pressure cuff back into its case and disposed the needle and my gloves
"It was nice meeting you Mrs Walker" I look at Kyle and notice his eyes were already fixed on me. I quickly looked away. I force a smile at Kimberly
"Kimberley please, Kyle be useful and help Anna here out" She says sweetly
"No its fine, thats not necessary, im sure i'll manage" I choke out
"I'll help, don't worry" I stands up extending his height, he was tall compared to me
I nodd as he opens the door, I push the trolley out with me holding my breath as I walk past him.
I watch as he closes the door behind him
"Well isn't it the famous Anna Mills" His raspy voice sends shivers down my spine
"Don't ignore me sweetheart" He moves closer, I step back
"Kyle we're in the middle of the hall, are you crazy" I quietly yell
He tilts his head with his hands in this pockets, I quickly walked off only for him to follow me back into the elavator
"Kyle what do you think you are doing!" I glare at him from the other side of the elavator
"Don't be so cold now" He smirks at me crossing his arms, I scoff and walk out the elavator
"Kyle get out of my office!" I say sternly
He takes a step closer towards me,
I couldn't move
He takes another step closer,
Holy s.hit he's getting closer real fast
I move back as he moves closer
We repeat this process until I couldn't move anywhere. F.uck!
"Kyle" I take a gulp
"Anna" He smirks, my name rolls off his tongue wonderfully
He pushes his body against mine preventing me from escaping, He puts his hands beside my head leaning against the wall.
He dips his head towards me, pushing his forehead against mine.
He places his lips against mine softely. His tongue swips my lower lip deepening the kiss.
We pulled away to breathe
"I'm taking you out tonight, be ready before 8.30, we're going to a club" He gives me another kiss before taking off
I stayed leaning against the wall trying to catch my breath
