Felix was planning to spend his Sunday like how he spent every other Sunday, being a blob and doing absolutely nothing at all. At least, that's what he planned on doing before he woke up, too early for a Sunday, to a text from Chan.

The boy, still in bed, groaned as he reached for his phone which was charging next to his night light (yes, he still uses a night light). He unlocked his phone groggily, vision still blurry from waking up and called chan.

"Chan hyung-"

"No good morning?"

"Not after you woke me up"

Felix heard Chan chuckle through the phone before replying, "fair enough, now what did my dearest younger cousin call me for on such a fine day?"

Felix rolled his eyes at his cousin's words, answering the older with a monotone voice, "what do you think?"

"Uhh- I don't know?" Chan answered as convincingly as he could.

"Chan hyung" the younger said in a stern voice.

"Ooh, the roadtrip-" the older started but then got cut off by the sound of whining coming from the other side of the phone.

"But I don't wanna go~"

"Well, it's either that or you face your mum's wrath"

"Wait- how does my mum know about this?" The younger questioned suspiciously at the latter.

"Ah, I forgot to tell you, she's the one that planned the whole thing. She said it was for you to 'see the beauty of the world' or something"

"But I don't wanna see the beauty of the world" the freckled boy complained, flopping face down on his bed.

Chan sighed, "well, it's not like you have a choice".

"I hate how you're always right" Felix muttered under his breath, though Chan could hear it clearly from the other side of the phone.

"And I love you too my lovely younger cousin" Chan replied and before the younger could complain any further he quickly ended the conversation with the classic: "oh, would you look at the time, I've still got to pack for our absolutely wonderful day ahead of us, bye!"

Felix heard the phone beep indicating that the older had already hung up. Sighing heavily, Felix painfully lifted himself up from the comfortable nest of blankets that he had made himself and went into the bathroom to make himself look at least decently presentable.

Now, Felix's mother didn't think that her fashion senses were the best, but when her son came down the stairs wearing an old Christmas sweater and bright blue tracksuit pants she was, to say the least, disappointed in her son's choice of clothing.

So she dragged him back up stairs and helped him pick a more 'normal' choice of clothing.

"Buuut muuum~" Felix whined, not wanting to get out of his Christmas sweater.

"No buts young man, you look like an out of date yogurt in the clothing aisle" his mum said sternly while looking through his messy closet.

Felix grumbled angrily, originally his plan was to make himself look as horrible as possible so that he wouldn't have to go on the 'stupid and completely unnecessary' road trip.

"Here, wear this" the Australian's mum held out a light blue turtleneck and plain black jeans. She handed the clothes to her son, who grudgingly took them and trudged slowly to the bathroom to get changed.

Half an hour later, Felix found himself waiting in the living room for Chan to pick him up. He was about halfway through a spongebob episode when he heard the doorbell ring, picking his light green (or as he likes to call it, pastel Shrek with a hint of Kermit green) coloured backpack off the carpet, he waddled to the front door.
