|Goku|You Got Me

Thank you so much for your support and the request! I hope you like it! This was definitely a favorite of mine to write.

You couldn't sleep. How could you? Within mere hours androids would be invading your world. Anrdroids so destructive they completely sent your world into an apocalyptic state, just in a diffrent time- Goku had been quick to spill that secret to you-.

Nervous. You were nervous. You wanted to puke.

You were a fighter, and a pretty decent one, at least you had thought. Then Raditz landed on earth and from there you realized just how weak you actually were. In fact, you hadn't even planned on attempting to take on the androids, rather you were going to help Bulma with her baby.

After all, if they were stronger than a super saiyan, there was no way an earthling like you could stand any chance.

Kami, you were so nervous.

Movement from the other side of the bed, followed by some groans, temporarily pulled you from your thoughts.

"Goku?" You couldn't help but slightly chuckle at the saiyan next to you.

His hair was choatic- even more so than usual- and there was a trail of drool running down the side of his mouth. "Hm," he rolled around for a minute before lifting his head up, leaning back on his arms, and rubbing his eyes. "(Y/n)? What are ya'," Goku let out a huge yawn, "What are ya' doin' up? It's late."

"I can't sleep."

Another yawn, "How come?"

"How come? Did you forget about the androids, Goku?"

"Huh, no, I didn't forget." He sat up and stretched his arms behind his head before looking at you with his glowing dark eyes and a toothy smile with a chuckle. "Is that why you can't sleep?"

"Yeah," You looked down at your hands. "I'm really nervous. So much. What if our world turns into the reality Trunks's is? I-I don't know if I could handle that."

"Awe, (Y/n)," You looked back at Goku who was smiling at you. "Why are you worried about that? You got me, y'know?"

"That's pretty cocky of you to say-"

"No, really. I've been training alot for the past three years, and so has everyone else. Do you really think we're going to let the world be destroyed?"

"Well, no, but no one ever means to- "

"And then, there is going to be three super saiyans, not just two."

"This is supposing Vegeta reaches that state."

"I'm not worried about that."

You both sat in silence for a moment.

"Hey!" Goku grabbed your shoulder, and gave you a checky grin you could only describe as dorky and adorable. "Don't worry 'bout it! You got me, and I promise I won't let anything happen to ya'!"

You couldn't help but smile.

Placing your hand over his hand on your shoulder, you chuckled. "Okay, Goku. I believe you," And you did. With Goku at your side, you truley believed everything was going to be okay.

"Good! Now let's go back to sleep!" With that Goku yanked you into his arms and fell onto his side back onto the bed. You only laughed and wrapped your arms around him, both of your legs entangling toghether.

You slept well for the rest of the night, your nerves vanishing as your husband held you close.
