"Hello. My name is Laine Reeds. I'm a fourth year transfer student at Seoul National University in the foreign language program. I'm from America. I am fluent in six languages: Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, Korean, English, and Tagalog. I think I would be a good fit for your company because I am a fast learner, and I will do everything with enthusiasm," I introduced myself to the board. They asked me to speak in my other languages before giving me situations to react to. The board compromised of three producers, Namjoon and another guy.

After they were done asking me questions, I was thanked for my time before I left the room and went back to the waiting room with the other interviewees. They stared at me like I was out of place. Compared to them, my skin was darker, I was taller and my figure was more of an hourglass shape. I was controversial apparently. They openly talked about me, probably thinking I didn't speak Korean. The door opened and JungKook came in with a smile on his face. The other interviewees started fangirling. Meanwhile, I just smiled at him.

"Oh, Noona!" He said when he saw me. He pulled me out of my chair and smiled at me. "Hyung chose you as our new manager. Come on," he said in Korean. I followed him out of the room and the other girls started talking about me before I even left the room. JungKook took me to a practice room where the other members were waiting. They smiled when they saw me.

"Laine!" Most of the guys said when they came to greet me. Min Yoongi was the the slowest to greet me. He nodded to me and I nodded back before averting my eyes. I knew he didn't approve. The door opened and Namjoon walked in looking like a tall glass of cool water. He smirked when he saw me.

"Soobin wanted to take you as their manager too, but he conceded to his elders," Namjoon said as he came closer.

"What's my first task?" I asked. He chuckled as the guys giggled.

"Besides your welcome party tonight, your day starts tomorrow. We're having one last pool party before the summer officially ends," Namjoon explained.

"You really speak six languages?" Jim asked. I nodded with a small smile.

"I'm here for a foreign studies program. My mom is from the Philippines so I've known Tagalog and English since I was little. I learned Korean and Chinese at a young age. I learned Spanish and Japanese in high school and college," I explained.

"Namjoon is really smart like you too," JungKook said to me.

"Our producer wants to see you for a moment," Namjoon said. I nodded before I said goodbye to the boys. I went to where the interview took place. The producers were still in there as I knocked and entered.

"Excuse me," I said as I walked in. They nodded to me before handing me a large binder and a pair of keys. Apparently the job came with a company car so I could get around faster to run errands for the guys. The binder was everything I needed to know about the guys' likes, dislikes, and habits. I had a lot of studying to do. I think the fact I knew how to drive helped me get the job, honestly. I went to the parking garage and clicked the FOB of the car keys until I found the car. I smiled before putting the binder in the passenger seat.

"How do you like the new ride?" A voice called from behind me. I jumped before I turned with my hand over my chest.

"Jesus, Namjoon. You scared me," I said as I tried to calm my beating heart.

"A lot of perks come with this job. A company car, hanging out with BTS, and you get to be with your boyfriend all day," he smirked. I smiled as I hit his chest gently. He chuckled and held my hand in his.

"We're at your company. I don't want to get fired on my first day," I said. He smirked before he took a step closer to me.

"I won't get you in trouble just yet. But I'll text you later the time for the pool party. Your staff badge and ID should be in an envelope in that binder also. Don't lose it," he said. I nodded before I pushed him back gently.

"I got it. Go, I'll be there tonight, promise," I said. He took a step back before he turned and walked away. I got in the driver's side before I started the car and pulled up my gps to head back to campus. I drove carefully, getting a feel for the road. I knew driving in a different country would be different but I got the hang of it quickly. I made it to campus and found the parking lot near our dorms and parked. When I locked the doors, I heard a squeal from in front of me. I turned and saw Abby staring at me.

"Where did the car come from?" She asked.

"I got the job. This is a company car," I explained.

"Nice," she smiled excitedly.

"Don't get too excited. There are rules to driving it," I stopped her.

"So you're the new manager of BTS," she smiled. I smiled smugly as I walked with her to the dorms.

"You should have seen the look on the other girls faces when JungKook came to get me. They were talking crap about me before that, so it was extra satisfying. I wish I'd taken a picture," I said with a little laugh. We walked to our room where I immediately started looking for my swimsuit. I brought a few with me but I couldn't manage to find a single one.

"What are you looking for?" Abby asked. I dug around in my drawers.

"My swimsuit. There's a welcome party for me tonight and I can't find one," I answered her as I dug around. Abby was quiet for a moment as she went through one of her drawers.

"Here," she said. I turned to see her holding up a electric blue bikini. The top was a bandeau style with straps that crossed in the back and the bottoms had ruching in the crack to make them cheeky. I just stared at her.

"There's no way," I shook my head as I continued to look for my own one piece swimsuit.

"You don't really have a choice, love," she said sweetly. I could tell she was enjoying this a little too much.
