Heath Ledger- Suicide Squad and Wuthering Heights

B: Suicide Squad gave us a look into the section of the Joker's life played by Heath Ledger and his "girlfriend" Harley Quinn played by yourself and how he sort of pushed you into going bonkers. How was it playing such a crazy person in a relationship with another crazy person? Is there a method to it?

BG: Well Heath and I talked through how we wanted their relationship to look like. We wanted it to be Harley following, texting, waiting for him to call or to get her. She has this sort of affection for him, because he released the crazy from within her. In my delivery and interpretation of the character, I had her sort of copying the Joker in a way, she mimicked his crazy. And doing that was very easy when I was with Heath. In scenes I would match his level and it was fine that you saw that on screen because that's what we wanted it to look like!
B: This is the only movie you have done to date that you have to make out with someone while the both of you have noticeable face makeup on. What was that like?

BG: Oh it was very messy! {laughs} Every take we had to stand there and get the makeup fixed

B: Something that you can see in the movie is that Harley always seems to be waiting for the Joker to come for her. At times it seemed like a one-sided relationship. But when he is convincing her that they are meant to be he says this particular line to get her to stay. Was that line scripted?
