Grace Preston

“This plan is not going well.” I said sadly. Nick and I were trying pretty hard to make Cameron jealous and at some points I could see him a bit irritated or frustrated from our display of affection for each other. But other than that he didn’t react. I expected him to lash out on Nick or pull me out of his arms and hug me tight or maybe say something cheesy like ‘she’s mine’. But none of that filmy crappy thing happened.

Stupid moviemakers! All they show is nonsense.

“Relax, Grace! He’ll come around eventually.” Nick said, trying to calm me down.

I sighed. “I don’t know when that eventually is going to come but I’m kicking his ass if he doesn’t come around soon.” I said, frustration rising inside me.

“Poor Cam.” Nick said sadly.

I glared at him and he gave me a sheepish smile. All boys are damn douche bags!

“So, where should I drop you?” he asked.

“Supermarket, I need to buy some stuff.” I said sighing. I guess, I’ll just have to wait and see if there’s anything at all that Cameron feels for me.

Five minutes later Nick dropped me at the Super market. I entered looking for some stuff that I had to buy for the house since Brian and Cam were a big time foodie, the grocery which would be enough for two months was about to finish.

Half an hour later I was almost done and was looking for my gummy bears.

“Hey Grace.”I heard someone call me from behind, I voice I faintly recognized. I turned around to see a smirking Chris Ryder.

“You.” I said surprised. The last time I saw him was on the day of Race when he had met with an accident.

He looked amused for some reason. “Yeah, remember me?” he said cocking his head to the side.

I nodded my head. He looked too intimidating for me to say anything.

He laughed. “Am I scary or something?”

I wanted to shout.. Hell yeah! But refrained myself and shook my head. “No. why?”

“You look a bit scared.” He said narrowing his eyes and took a step forward. Immediately I stepped back.

“N-No, nothing like that.” I said and started walking towards the counter. I didn’t know this guy well, he was probably nice but judging from the looks he looked like a total villain. Also, Cameron’s reaction to him wasn’t very.. nice.

I paid for the grocery and exited the store. “Hey Grace.”

I groaned. He didn’t get the hint when I walked away from him. I turned around and jumped back, Chris was standing way too close. I tripped over my own foot and was about to fall when an arm went around my waist holding me in place. The bags fell from my hands and my arms went around Chris’s neck.
