Chapter 26

Jade's POV

Not 72 hours ago I was a trainwreck, eating ice cream and watching Sex & the City on my bed, crying because I thought I'd ruined my fake relationship with Vega; now, I was in Sikowitz's class, side by side with Tori, now my real girlfriend.

Vega was mindlessly playing with our intertwined hands while I was just staring at her.

"Why are you doing that?" I said playfully

"Doing what?" she said looking up

"Never mind" I chuckled

She just rolled her eyes and kept on doing what she was doing before

"Ohhhh" she said finally realizing "Does it bother you?"

"No. I just find it cute"

"Who would've thought Jade West would ever call something cute" she mocked

"Why, I sure wouldn't" I said mocking her back in the voice I always used to annoy her

"I don't talk like that!" she said defending herself

"Sure you don't" I said using the voice again and pecking her lips

"Jade, kiss your girlfriend on your own time" Sikowitz said coming in through the window, sipping on his coconut

"Oh, I will" I said smiling tentatively, earning a slap on the arm from Vega

He rambled on about his boring life until the bell rang. What did we do exactly in this class? I couldn't think of anything normal.

"Tori, will you please stay behind" he asked while the other students filled out of the classroom

"Sure" she answered "Meet me at lunch, okay?"

"Bye Vega" I said letting her hand drop from mine and leaving my crazy teacher's room wondering what he would want to talk about with Tori.

I headed to Math and sat on my usual seat. I honestly didn't get the point of having normal subject at this school since it was obviously not normal and the fact that most people that graduated from here would have a career in the arts. I could care less about this particular subject, but I kept my grades up.

The other periods before lunch were completely boring and I had nothing to say about them what so ever.

When the bell for lunch finally rang, I grabbed a burger from the grub truck and a salad for Vega, and sat at our friend's usual table. No one was there, only Cat

"Hello tattle tale" I said sarcastically

"Hello" she replied "Last I remember my tattle taleness got your girlfriend to realize she liked you"

"I sure do" I heard a familiar voice behind me

"Hi Tori" Cat said

"Hey" she replied

"How's the new couple thing working out for you?" the red head asked

"So far, so good Cat" Tori answered "So babe, Sikowitz asked how we were doing"

"I was wondering what that was about, what did you say to him?" I asked curiously

"I said we're doing fine" she said eating her salad

"So you didn't tell him about you guys being for real now?" Cat said

"No. I figured we could mess with him a little bit" the half-Latina answered

"Someone's got a dark side" I laughed "Who knew"

"Very funny Jade" she said

"You guys are adorable" said Beck sitting down and wrapping his arm around his girlfriend's shoulders "We were never cute"
