CHAPTER 3: Follow

TIME SKIP: The Next Day

YOUR POV

Yesterday me and Namjoon gotten closer than expected, I thought he will ignore me like he always do because of the nerd and popular thing, but he even told me the answer at our quiz yesterday. Now that he talked to me I become more curios, since yesterday I am the only one who's sharing stories, I wonder what could be his.

"Hey! Songhye were you even listening?" Wonyoung suddenly said sitting beside me "Huh, what?" I said snapping out of my thoughts "We came here to the rooftop to talk but you seem to think about something else" Yunmi said and Nayeon agreed to her "Don't tell me your thinking about studies again" Wonyoung said and I widen my eyes out of confusion "What are we wrong?" Nayeon said "Ah studies, yeah I am thinking about that haha" I said almost giving them a clue about Namjoon, "Stop talking about that! Let's go out later night!" Yunmi cheered but I sigh "You three don't know how much trouble I got into, when we four go out" I said and they looked at me "Do I really have to tell you guys?" I asked and they nod

"Seriously?" I asked but they nod once more "I receive detention, guys I have records now" I said and they snickered "What's funny?" I asked them and Nayeon laughs "What's wrong with that? At least you have one the three of us have plenty of records" she said and I frown "Stop being a bully and start living your life" I advice but they shook their heads "Then can the three of you at least study!" I pleaded "Sorry, not going to happen" Wonyoung said and I sigh out of frustration "You have to stop paying smart people to do your homework, and everything! What will your parent's say!" I yelled at them "Don't care about them" Yunmi said and I hit her head "I am serious!" I said and she sigh "Okay then we shall hang out later night" she said and I frown once again "Sorry, but I am not falling for that again! Last time I check I have a hard time answering my quiz because I forgot to review!" I said and leave them standing there "Go out yourself" I mumbled while walking out "Those three really need to study, gosh what happened to them, they get worse everyday" I said and walked at the hallways calming myself down

While wondering around I saw Namjoon walking from the school gates to our classroom, trying to avoid people as much as possible "He really is so unsociable" I said and decided to ignore the fact I like him and calm myself down from all the stress I have from my friends but then I saw that he was not with Jinwoo, "Who will keep an eye on him? Where's Jinwoo" I said worried cause if Jinwoo is not around other students bully Namjoon. So because of anxiousness I decided to follow him from behind

I run to his direction and while getting nearer I started walking again trying not t make any noises for him to hear or know I am behind him, I just follow him from the back and looked at his presence. Many people we're looking at us but I try to look as if I was not following him so that they will not judge him, others that already saw him entering the school and planning to pull a prank on him suddenly stopped and looked at me, then hide the things they are putting together. I follow him until he reached our classroom, and I am sure he was confused that no one played on him even Jinwoo is not around. And as I predicted he turn around but before he could see me I already left to another direction where he can't see me "Aish! Where is Jinwoo, what if something happen to Namjoon" I said worried about Namjoon's situation "I have to watch over Namjoon until I saw Jinwoo around him again" I said to myself walking down the hallways

If Jinwoo is not around who will protect him? Well I have to; I have to protect Namjoon even if it will ruin my image I said to myself and continue walking around waiting for the bell ring

TIME SKIP: One Week Later (Monday)

It has been one week and Jinwoo is still not around so for the whole week I followed Namjoon ever where he go in school, in the library, the cafeteria and even at the school gate when he goes home, a lot of people stares and even my friends does, so sometimes I try to act as if I don't know what's happening, I also try to not make him notice but when he will reached the classroom I will always see him looking at his back from afar to know who is protecting him and it was so funny, I wonder why everyone hates a nerd when they can be fun like him........

WONYOUNG'S POV

It has been a week and we always ask Songhye to hang out with us but she will always reject our offer and said she was busy, we always believe that since she's the smart one in our group but the weird thing is she is always behind Namjoon as if protecting him, she look confused every time we will look at her so we are thinking if it was on purpose or it's just a coincidence. "That can't be coincidence" Nayeon said while the three of us we're thinking "Don't you trust her?" I asked Nayeon and she sigh "Well, we can't lie she is always behind Namjoon like the whole week" Yunmi said which is true "What should we do now?" I asked them "I think we should do nothing until we proven something" Nayeon suggested and I nod "Then after that?" Yunmi asked "Whatever we prove, we have to test her to justify all our conspiracy" she said and I sigh "Okay let's do that" I agreed and I can't believe myself

Even if this plan sucks, and if I will harm my first ever best friend we have to know whatever the truth is someday, we're sorry Songhye I said to my mind not knowing if I did the right thing.
