Sherlock was a mysterious man. No one understood why he did or didn't do certain things, not even his boyfriend John. This afternoon John yelled from the door he was heading to the store to which he got a quick "OK," in return.
He was halfway down the street when he realized he forgot the most important thing, his bloody wallet. He sighed and made a quick U turn back to the apartment. He swung open the door and took the stairs two at a time on his way up. He walked into the living room and saw his wallet on the end table by his chair, "Forgot my wallet," he mumbled to Sherlock. He snatched the small leather pouch and was on his way back out the door when he noticed Sherlock. The taller man was stretched out on the couch in his normal thinking state but now...he was dressed in an otter onesie.
John stared in bewilderment for a few moments before Sherlock spoke, "It was a gift and I don't throw out useful things." John made a face showing he understood but then quickly changed it because he, in fact, did not. He soon noticed from standing in one place for an extended period of time that the apartment was chilly and he got a huge shiver. "There is an extra one in my bedroom," was all Sherlock said.
John came back 5 minutes later dressed as a hedgehog and plopped down on his boyfriend and they cuddled the rest of the night, groceries could wait.
