first, to start omg chapter twelve this is crazy thank you so much for reading let's get started with the chapter

It's now Monday and Christina's wedding is in five days and we're all stressed out. I've been planning the bachelorette party on Friday and it's been hard. I want it to be absolutely perfect for my best friend. I just got off the phone with the receptionist at the Four Seasons in downtown Chicago. Our room is booked and it's ready for five young women about to get drunk and cry all night. I walk back into Tobias' room and he's laying on his bed in grey sweatpants that look a little big considering I can see the Calvin Klein brand name on the waistband of his underwear. His hair is all messed up from the night we had. "Hey, babe. Who was on the phone?" Tobias asks as he puts his phone down and sits up. "A woman from the Four Seasons downtown, I wanted to make sure she still had our reservation for Friday," I answer rolling up the sleeves of his expensive button up shirt. "Four Seasons? Babe those are really expensive," he informs me as if I didn't already know. By throwing this party I'll be behind on either and car payment or rent but only the best for my best friend. "Yeah, I know" I respond sitting down on the bed next to him. "It's fine Chris deserves it for everything she's done for me," I reassure him. "Tris you work at Victoria Secret, your paycheck can't possibly cover a car, rent, food, literally anything else and this bachelorette party hell you've got student loans too," He tells me holding my face in his hands looking into my eyes with concern. "Tobias I promise I got this," I say putting my hands on top of his. "Tris I'm telling you, you're gonna drop the ball sometime," he tells me as he lays back down on the bed. I lay down with him putting my head on his chest. His big arms wrap around me like a security blanket and instantly I feel safer. "I'm telling you I've got this. I've been doing this since my first year in college." I say sounding completely sure of myself. "If you'd just move in with me you wouldn't have this problem. My salary covers my expenses and yours plus so much more. We could do trips and go to nice restaurants to eat. Tris, I wanna give you things you deserve" he tells me and for once in my life, I feel like a priority to someone other than my parents, I feel like someone truly loves me.  "Tobias, I understand you wanna do this right this time, have a real relationship, but we've been dating for what like 2 days you've told me you love me and honestly I don't know our start was rocky but I mean I love you too Tobias," I explain. "We're moving way to fast. After the wedding, I'll give you an answer, okay" I tell him and he sits up making me sit up as well. He kisses me and I wrap my arms around his neck. "Tris I'm sorry. I'm nervous and excited but if you want me to take back the whole 'I love you' thing I will. I just wanna make you happy, if taking it back makes you feel less stressed about us I won't love you." he tells me with a little laugh. I laugh and put my head on his shoulder.

It's now almost 10 and Tobias just left for work. I was thinking of surprising him and stopping by but I don't know what his schedule holds. I don't wanna show up if he's in the middle of a meeting and ruining everything. I pick up my phone and call the building. "Eaton Enterprises. My name is Lauren how can I help you?" a young woman picks up the phone. "Hi. Could you tell me what's on Mr. Eaton's schedule for the rest of the day?" I ask sweetly. "I'm sorry may I ask who this is?" she asks for privacy reasons. "His girlfriend," I answer hoping she still tells me. "Well, Mr. Eaton has an interview for 'Forbes' magazine at 11:30. He then has lunch with a possible partner at 12:45 and at 2 he has a meeting in the conference room." she says trusting that I'm telling the truth about being his girlfriend. "Thank you so much Lauren Ill be stopping by later today. Please don't tell me I'd like it to be a surprise. How long do those meetings go for?" I ask so I can plan accordingly. "Well it depends but with this company it should last about 15 minutes," she informs me. "Thank you again, Lauren." "I'm glad I could help!" she says and I hang up. I put my clothes back on and make the bed. I walk around the penthouse looking for his office. I walk into the kitchen and turn right I see a game room with a pool table and an 'L' shaped couch. I walk through the doorway on the other side of the room and see the office on the left. I walk in and try to find some paper and a pen. I see a pen on the desk and get paper out of the printer. I write Tobias a little note and leave it in his bathroom. I get my purse and I'm about to leave when I see one of his dresser drawers open I walk into the closet and see red lacy fabric hanging out. A bra. I open the drawer and there are 5 more different colors. I open the drawer to the right of it and inside of it I see multiple pairs of underwear. 'What the hell?' I think.  'What's going on?' I'm so confused and honestly, hurt.

I don't know how to react to this. He told me he wasn't with anyone while we were apart. Was he lying again?  I grab my purse and get out of the building. I walk to my car and drive home. I really wanna talk to Christina about this but she doesn't need all the added stress of my love life on top of her wedding. I decide to call Marlene but she texts me saying she's at work. I call Shauna next and it goes straight to voicemail. I call Lynn and it also goes to voicemail. I feel alone. I don't wanna call any of the guys I feel like they wouldn't care. I don't know who to go to.

It's 1:28 and that Lauren girl called me back telling me that his meeting will be starting soon since he just got back to the office from his business lunch. I thank her and hang up I decide to talk to go to him and get the truth. I stand up and walk to my room. I curl my hair into big sexy voluminous curls. I put on a short tight sexy dress. I get my heels and put and them on.

I'm pulling into the parking lot and I step out. As soon as I step into the building I'm getting looks from people. I walk up to the reception desk and ask what floor his office is on even though I've already been up there. I sit in his office chair for maybe five minutes before the door opens. There he stands. Stunned, confused, but also excited. "What are you doing here?" he asks with a smirk as he walks up to his desk. I put my feet down and sit up straight. "Are you lying to me?" I ask and his eyes flash with nervousness and confusion. "What?" he asks. We sit there in his office no saying a word just looking at each other.
