I cleared my throat as I scanned the room. It was just Hina's closest friends as I saw Koeun noona and Lami sitting across me, while I sat beside Hina and another girl who I am unfamiliar with.
Her mom was sitting beside Yuta hyung who was smiling cheekily at me, teasing me.
"So," Hina started, "you all know Jaemin. My high school bestfriend. Sorry we caught a little traffic on the way here so-"
"Been a while, Jaemin-ah." Koeun noona called and smiled at me as she gave me a bowl of rice
I bowed my head and smiled at her.
"It has been." I answered back as I remembered how Hina introduced us all together.
"Where are we going? You do know that we still have a homework we need to finish, right?" I whined at Hina one afternoon as she kept on dragging me on the streets.
"I finished the math homework already just copy mine for now."
"Eo? If you say so then." I shrugged as I glanced over and saw Hina went inside an arcade, "where are we exactly?" I asked even though I know the answer
"Unnie!" Hina called suddenly and left me standing there in the middle of the crowd, I saw how she ran over to 2 girls wearing a black uniform, looks like Hanlim.
"Hina!" They hugged each other as the tallest of them all ruffled her hair, the other girl laughed so loud that I almost see her throat.
I scratch the back of my head as I slowly walk towards them.
Hina noticed and was quick to clung in to my arm and introduce me.
"Girls, this is Jaemin." She said and nudged me. She let my arm go and smiled widely
I bowed down and smiled cheekily.
"Na Jaemin." I introduced and looked at how they giggled
"So that's why she calls you Nana." The tallest said, "Go Eun."
"And I'm Sungkyung but my nickname's Lami." The other one said and bowed.
"They're my bestfriends." Hina whispered to me and chuckled, I nodded
"Nice to meet you all." I said
The Go Eun suddenly turned around and urged us to go out the arcade. The 3 girls were clinging to each other's arms as I followed closely behind.
I saw how Hina is smiling widely and laughing genuinely. My heart keeps beating fast as I saw how she is so happy with this meet-up.
We all went to a Korean Café. As we all sat down on the sofa seat, the waitress gave us the menu as I looked at Koeun and Lami who were scanning the menu. I turned my attention to Hina and she pointed the Mango Bingsu,
"Let's share this one." I immediately smiled and I nodded.
"One large size Injeolmi Bingsu..." Koeun said as she looked at us
"Large Mango Bingsu." Hina said, I eyed the waitress as she wrote everything down
"Can we get extra milk?" Lami asked, the waitress nodded and asked us if there was anything else
"4 lattés also." I added quickly, then she walked away to go inside the kitchen.
"Your treat?" Lami asked, I nodded and smiled at her.
"Aye- I like him already." Koeun chuckled as Hina just clicked her tongue
"So by the way, Jaemin-ssi. I'm a year older than the 2 of you" Koeun explained as my eyes widen
