Gwen's POV
I was sitting in my seat, waiting for my name to be called.
"Gwendolyn Miranda Ingrid-Russo" my guidance counselor said

I got and walked down the stairs and started walking in front of all the people. My family of five were cheering me on, my older brothers Tristen 27, Valentine 21, and James 20 along with my little eight old brother Brody with my father. I smiled and the principal gave me my diploma and I walked back up to my seat.

Once the ceremony was done I walked to my family and hugged them each. My best friend Duncan, family... Teresa and Steven Nelson, his parents, walked over and with their kids Dominic, Robbie, Randy, Ashley, and little Ronald/ Ronnie. I hugged them each very tight as I was leaving for California in literally one hour.

"Gwen, hun have you seen Duncan?" Teresa asked
"No, but I think I know where he is." I said
She nodded and I started walking to our spot, the tree. I saw him sitting there. Even though I was looking at his back, I could tell he was upset.

"Hey softie" I said
He turned around and saw me. I was right he was very upset, I could tell, not because of his face and body language, but because he didn't get mad when I called him softie.

"Come here" He said hitting the spot next to him and I sat down.
"You okay?" I asked

"Hell no" he said
"You hate this fucking place why are you upset?" I asked
"Because the one person I need in my life is moving across the country in an hour." Duncan said
I gave him a look and he grabbed my shoulders.

"Gwen please just stay till summer's over, your school doesn't even start till then." He said
"Duncan we've talked about this." I said crossing my arms
He hugged me tight.

"Don't think of me, think of Ronnie and Brody...so they don't become us." He said
"We would train them to become us." I said
He gave me a look and I laughed.

"We will talk everyday, I will visit any and every break I have, I will move back the second this school is over....I fucking promise." I said
He nodded and I hugged him.

He then started shaking his head.
"No you stay there, till you turn 25 and you come back here and we get married so we can be together forever, because surely no one's going to fall in love with me." Duncan said and I started tearing up

"Of course!" I said
He hugged me again and I squeaked him.

"I love you." Duncan said
"I love you too." I said
"I love you more." Duncan said and I laughed
That was always our thing and I didn't want to lose it.

"I found them." Ronnie said
We both looked and Ronnie was there with Brody. Both our families were there. I got up and hugged everyone one last time.

Three Days Later

Gwen's POV
I walked into class. I wasn't used to this time at all and had my second coffee in hand. I sat down class and looked around. This was a class for people who wanted to be models, artists, and photographers. I wanted to be an artist and photographer. As I took one of last sips of my coffee. I sighed and then yawned.

"Hey you gothie...here you look like you need this." A Hispanic voice said
I turned it was a coffee.
"Oh thank you so much." I said and he gave me it
"Of course, names Alejandro." He said and then looked at me
"Gwen" I said and smiled.

We talked for a bit I learned he wanted to be a model and I told him I wanted to be an artist and photographer.

Duncan's POV
I was sitting on the couch staring at the wall. I haven't slept for days, I missed her so fucking much. My older sister, Ashley walked over and gave me water. I took a sip and then pushed it away.

"She'll be back soon." Ashley said and hugged me
I nodded and hugged her back.

I've known Gwen my whole life, and have been in love with her since I was in the fifth grade. I never told her, but everyone knew. I should of told her and maybe she would of stayed.

"I should of told her I was in love with her." I said
"Duncan" Ashley said
"I should of told her." I said shaking my head

I saw my mother and she was tearing up watching me. Gwen's father, Alec, and my father were comforting her. My mother, loved her like she was her own daughter, ever since their mother died. Her brothers were upset too and were all sitting around. My brothers haven't left their rooms since she left. No one was happy that she was gone, but we were all happy for her.
