Tae's POV

I woke up to my ears ringing, my head acing, with the rest of my body feeling sore. After just sitting there with my eyes closed tight, I felt a cold wet towel hit my forehead, the soft touch I knew well, comforted me.

The ringing stopped, well then it started again, but this time I recognized the familiar sound, it was the phone ringing. I felt the warm touch being replaced, i guessed jimin went to answer it. I unintentionally shivered, I felt cold.

"Y-yes.. of course we're alright! - no not at all take your time! Yes- uh tae is sleeping still— yes, okay I will— okay see you soon!" Jimin said, by his tone I could tell that he was faking being happy, trying to fool the person on the phone, but he keeps repeating that we're okay, seeming that the person wasn't easy to fool after all.

I heard Jimin place the phone down on the table, his foot steps getting louder. Jimin then took the towel off my forehead, wetting it again and placing it back.

"Yah taehyung, hurry up and open you eyes, I'm not stupid I know your awake!" Jimin huffed. I placed a soft smile on my lips, trying hard to to laugh, I opened my eyes slowly, jimin's figure becoming clear.

"Hey jiminie.. " I said, but my throat was dry, making my voice sound raspy and broken. I looked at jimin's eyes, they held worrisome.

Guilt then strikes, he must have felt very worried and afraid. I then heard sniffles, jimin's eyes were now filled with tears, they were running down like a rain shower had come suddenly, staining his pretty natural rosy cheeks.

I quickly reached up, wrapping my arms around him, ignoring the burning in my muscles. I hugged him, he hugged me, and we both cried together peacefully in each others embrace.

"Taetae pass me a strawberry please," Jimin said cutely, making me cringe. I definitely made a face, and got a reaction, jimin hit my arm gently, his eyebrows firm together.

"Here you go chimchim," I also said cutely, passing him the plate of fresh sliced strawberries.

After crying, we talked and made a deal to never bring up what happened, especially to my parents.

I had to bribe him not to talk, obviously. I promised him that I would go anywhere he wanted without complaining once, and give him one of my Gucci slippers he had his eyes on.

We then got out of our misery, feeling better after crying and talking. I cleaned the house while jimin made pancakes, which we devoured.

It was 12:24, meaning that my parents were coming home any minute. We finished our breakfast and washed up, heading to the lighted living room, turning on the tv and switching between channels until we found something we were interested in.

"Are your parents coming now—"

And just on cue, we heard the door opening, standing there were my lovely parents. They had a big smile placed on their lips, arms spread wide open, ready for a group hug.

Me and jimin ran to them, jimin stumbled a little behind me making me giggle at his clumsiness.

We crushed each other in a hug, atmosphere becoming light and fun, laughter filling the empty spaces. Jin started kissing our heads and ruffling our hair, while namjoon chuckled, patting our backs.

My heart became light with a emotion, at that moment I understood what they meant by 'family is everything' because my family sure was a part of my everything.
