Everybody hates Gabe part 2

"Besides, I gave Rakeem extensions on two other assignments. Football can not be our only focus" Mr.I pointed out. "Well, it— it can this week, right" Grace said. I looked as everyone agreed. I don't get why he gets special treatment. "Let him play, let him play, let him play" everyone except me chanted. "Fine fine fine fine fine. Look Rakeem, you can have another week" Mr.I told him. My face turns into a 'What' face.

The bell rings and everyone leaves except me. Mr.I sighs. "Well,well,well" I says. "Always looking forward to reading your assignment Olivia "Mr.I told me. "You should. I worked hard on it" I told him. "Really,Really,Really hard" I continued. "You seem to be repeating yourself a lot" He said. "Do I?, Do I?,........... Do I?" I asked
"Look, you like Rakeem-" he started But I cut him off. "Not really" I said. " I get that, but they all like Rakeem" he finished. "You know what I like more a level playing field where everyone is treated equally" I said then walked out the classroom. I looked and saw Marisol, I smiled at her but she just looked away. That's weird. It was now lunch time and I got my lunch and sat down next to Lorenzo with Marisol in front of me, when Mikey came in and sat next to me. He smiled at me and I smiled at him. I see Marisol roll her eyes. Okay something is wrong. During lunch I kept seeing Marisol and Mikey stealing glances at each other. I tried not to think about it because I could always be overreacting. At the end of the day me and Mikey walked to our lockers, I open my locker and started putting my stuff in when I looked at Mikey and he had a look on his face like as if he was debating on something. "Okay what's wrong" I asked. "Hm, What!? Nothing wrong, why would something be wrong" he said and asked really quick. I gave him a look. He sighed and closed his locker. (Don't hate me but I didn't have an idea and I needed to add drama) He grabbed my hand as we walked home, we stopped in the front of my house, well Mr.I house since I live with him. I hugged him bye in which he barely hugged back. I turned away and made my way towards the door, until Mikey said something but I couldn't understand since he said it so fast. I turned around and smiled. "What" I asked laughing a little. "I cheated on you with Marisol" he said "what" I asked this time but my smiled disappeared and water was filling my eye

"I'm so sorry, it was a stupid mistake" he said trying to grab my hands. I shooked my head no. I started walked back inside the house, and slammed the door shut. That night I was in my room when someone knocked on my door. "Go away" I said thinking it's Mikey. "It's me" Mr.I said. I didn't say anything, wanting to be alone. I hear him sigh and walk away.
Third POV
Gabe (Mr.Iglesias) sighed and walked back to the his group of friends he invited over to see if they could help cheer up the teen. "Nothing" he told them. "Maybe she needs a girl" Abigail said, getting up from her chair. "No, let's just let her rest for today, we'll see her tomorrow at school" Tony told the group. They got up and left. "Gabe what's wrong" Abigail asked him. "Well you know I'm new at this, I don't know what to do, it's her first heart breaks she needs a mom in her life. What if I'm not good at this" Gabe said. "Hey, you may be new at this but you aren't new to her. You've always been a father figure to her. She needs you right now" she said and with that she left.
The next day, Olivia POV
I woke up and got dressed and went downstairs to see Mr.I cooking. "Good morning" he told me with a smile. I looked at him and gave him a small smile. "Good morning" we eat and left for school. Before we got into school Mr.I stopped me. "Hey I just wanted to let you know that I'm here for you, and I'm not leaving like the rest of the -excuse my language- shitty people did" he told me. I smiled at him and gave him a hug. "Thank you Mr.I" I was about to leave when I turned around. I'm about to take a risk. "Is it okay if I call you dad" I asked him. Praying I didn't make a fool at of myself. He gave me and smile and hugged me. "I would be honor" he told me a tear falling out of his eye. I smiled and big one this time and went to my first period.
Gabe's POV
Wow. Im so happy right now. I walked into the lobby and see everyone either glaring at me or giving me the death stare. I bet it's because of the Rakeem thing. Even the teachers. I did the right thing. I walked pass the training room and saw Rakeem working out. I walked in and had a little talk with him. After the talk I went home. I walked up to my room, thinking of what we are gonna eat, when Olivia's door open. "Hey dad, I order Chinesse for us" she said while walking down stairs to get the food. I smiled. This is my life now. I could get use to it.
