I walk out through the glass doors, stepping outside and the first thing I set my eyes on is a Toyota Prius 2019 that literally parked the moment I stepped out and I'm almost tempted to let out a whistle
This is the car I need in my life. This or a Lamborghini, I'm not picky
I look down at my phone and call the first number on my log before pressing the phone to my ear
"Hi, I'm outside"
"I see you" she says and I watch the door to the car open and a familiar someone steps out, a smile on her face
I let my eyes study her face for the first time, last time I couldn't cause I could barely see in the club and even when we went outside for a walk, the night sky had already darkened
She had bright brown eyes, pink full lips that seemed like they were always stretched in a smile and her shoulder length hair and the bangs falling on her forehead framed her face perfectly
In total, she was fineeeee
"Hi" she says bringing her phone away from her ear
"Hi" I say with a smile "perfect timing" I say referring to the fact that she literally arrived as I came out
"Well" she says only returning the smile

"Welcome to the place you'll be coming to for the rest of your life" I say pushing the door to the restaurant open and I hear her laugh lightly behind me and I turn to her
"That great huh?" She says
"I'll let you answer that question once you have a taste of their burgers. You'll die but you'll come back to life cause you have to get more" I say
"You sure know how to make food sound appetizing " she says
"Why thank you, its what I do. I should be getting paid" I say teasingly as we sit at a table by the window, me on one side and her, opposite me
"Since you brought us here to this great restaurant, my treat then" she says
"No that's fine"
"I insist. I'll take this as part of the tour and treating you to lunch will be the fees" she says with a smile
"Are you sure?" I ask "I can pay for my..."
"I insist. I'd like to treat you to lunch today" she says and I nod, giving in
"Alright. I'll accept your kind gesture" I say with a smile and she nods
The waitress soon approaches us and before she can even speak, I do
"My usual for both of us" I say and she nods walking away
"Did you order for me too?" She asks with a laugh and I nod
"Of course. Since its your first time here which I still can't believe, you should take the best first so I ordered you the best" I say and she nods with a smile, her eyes twinkling
"Great"

The whole world stops and stares for a while

The car stops in front of the building and I look at it before meeting her eyes
"Thanks for today" she says first and I nod with a smile
"I had fun. For the first time, lunch was actually interesting" I say and a smile frames her face
"You made it interesting" she says "I loved every bit of the time"
"Oh" I say not being able to wipe the smile off my face.
A small laugh leaves her lips as I just stare at her smiling "you have a beautiful smile, really" she says
"Ah, stop" I say
"What?"
"Flattery"
"Oh is that what I'm doing?" She says with a smile "I was just being honest though"
"Well you have a beautiful smile too" I say back and she let's out a small laugh
"Thank you" I loved how genuine she always sounded
After always getting lied to, you tend to appreciate the little times people are actually honest with you
"Well you should get back to work, I don't want to keep you" she says and I nod
"Yeah, you too" I say taking off my seat belt
"I'll call you, later" she says just as I am about to open the door and I turn to look at her
"I'll pick your call" I say with a smile and she let's out a small laugh
"That'd be great" she says and I nod
"I should get going" I say after a while of us just keeping quiet
"Yeah. See you later?" She asks more than states
"Definitely"

I take off my jacket and plop down on the couch next to Paisley, she didn't go to work and she was bumming around in my apartment
According to her, her weekend started on Friday so she never went to work on Fridays
"How was work?" She asks her eyes not leaving the television
"Same old, same old" I say with a sigh and she nods
I was just thankful it was Saturday tomorrow, I could finally rest from the week's stress...Tara's stress.
"I wanted to have lunch together today, I called your office but your assistant said you weren't in" she says
"I had lunch with someone" I tell her and she looks at me
"With who?"
"A friend, her name is Bunny" I say simply
"Bunny?"
"Yeah. We met at the party on Tuesday" I say my eyes not leaving the screen
"Hmm, you didn't tell me about this new friend of yours" she says and I look at her with a brow raised
"There's nothing to say, I met her, she's great, that's all" I say
"If you say so. I don't mind you moving on, is all" she says and I roll my eyes
"I'm not looking for a new person to date, we're just friends" I say "Besides I don't even know if she's straight or not"
"You met at a gay club, I'm pretty sure she's gay" she says with a laugh and I roll my eyes
"I'm pretty sure straight people go there sometimes" I defend lamely and its her turn to roll her eyes
"Whatever you say babe, I'm just saying you have my blessings if you decide to move on and date someone new, its long overdue" she says
"Alright. I'm not dating anyone though, I think I should give relationships a break" I say
"Alright" she says with a comforting smile, patting my hand before placing her hand back on her lap
"Is she pretty?" She suddenly asks after a few seconds of silence
"Paisley!"
