"You take me higher, higher than I've ever been, babe" I sing loudly along with the radio, dancing in my seat

"Just come over, let's pour a drink, babe. I hope I ain't calling you too late, too late" I follow along again before turning to Bunny and she shakes her head at me knowing I want her to sing the next verse

"Come on" I say nudging her and she clears her throat slightly

"...let's stay up late and smoke a J. I wanna go back to the old way" she follows with the radio and I see her fingers tap on the steering wheel as she gets into it

"But I'm drunk and still with a full ash tray. With a little bit too much to say" I sing along with her with a smile as the song ends

We were on our way to the beach house in Santa Monica and I was going crazy with excitement. I'd never really been places like that so you can understand my excitement.

"You have a beautiful voice" she says and I turn to her

"Stop" I say looking down at my laps

"What? I'm serious. You sing amazing" she says and I look at her

"You think so?"

"Are you crazy? Have you never heard yourself? You sound like a fucking angel" she says looking at me briefly before turning to the road and I feel a smile frame my face

"Thank you" I say looking out the window briefly and back at her

Why the fuck am I shy around my own girlfriend? Jesus Christ!

"Anytime baby" she says and I smile at her

Ed sheeran's "I don't care" starts playing and I immediately start moving to the beat making Bunny turn to look at me.

I wriggle my brows at her and a small laugh leaves her lips, knowing what to do

"I'm at a party I don't wanna be at, and I don't ever wear a suit and tie..." We both start, our voices going louder than the radio, a smile on both our faces
