I'm on my period

"Good morning babe" I woke to a voice In my ear.
I groaned before pulling the covers back over my head. I felt the bed shift and then a door close. I looked up to see shawn gone.

Where was he going?

I clutched my stomach in pain and then drifted off to sleep.

I opened my eyes to see shawn moving around the room. I yawned and he turned around. "Hey babe" he said with a smile as he walked over to me. He bent down and started to kiss my neck but I pushed him off of me, a little too harshly. I saw his face fall. He cleared his throat and turned around and walked towards the door. "Baby I'm sorry, it's jus- " I started but Shawn cut me off "it's fine."

Did he really think it was fine? I don't think he did...

I threw on shawn's t-shirt which went Down to my mid thigh. I put my hair in a messy bun and walked downstairs. I walked into the kitchen to see shawn facing the other way, cooking up breakfast on the stove. I wrapped my arms around his bare stomach and rested my head on his back. he didn't move.

"I'm sorry baby" I whispered kissing his back. Again, he didn't say anything. "Babeeeee" I whined standing up straight. I placed my hands on his shoulders. He turned around and looked at me, a small smile on his face. I didn't understand why he was smiling but I ignored it.

"Babe I'm sorry I acted like such a bitch... I'm on my period so I can get a little worked up and irritated"
As soon as the words left my mouth Shawn chuckled and pulled me into a hug. "I know Hun"
I pulled away and looked up at him, my eyebrows pulled together. "You know? How?" I asked.
"Well, there is a blood stain on the bed sheets... unless you killed someone and aren't very good at hiding the evidence... oh and I track your period on my calendar" Shawn laughed. My cheeks went red and Shawn just laughed more. I slapped his chest jokingly and took a seat on the stool at the table. "Whoops" I said laughing.

"Where did you go this morning after you tried waking me up?"
"Oh, I went out to get you some things for your period wait let me grab them." Shawn ran to the other room and came back a few moments later with a grocery bag in his hands.

I smiled.

"First I gottttttt MUFFINS!" Shawn said excitedly as he pulled them out of the bag. I laughed before looking back at shawn. "Then I got chocolate bars, some pain killers, a hot water bottle and some other treats! I also got popcorn so we can cuddle on the couch while watching movies."

Shawn placed everything on the counter and smiled. He looked up at me and caught me staring at him smiling. "What?" He asked chuckling.
"You're just so caring babe... thank you so much, I love you" I replied as I walked around the table and wrapped my arms around his neck.
"Anything for my baby girl" he whispered before softly placing his lips on mine.

I have the best boyfriend.
