Airplane

It was 4:30am. Shawn dragged me onto the plane as I was way too sleepy to walk myself. I sat down in my seat beside Shawn and rested my head on his chest. He wrapped his arm around me and kissed the top of my head. "Babe?" I called.
"Yes hun?" Shawn asked rubbing up and down my arm. "I'm scared..." I whispered softly. "Scared? Baby girl why are you scared?" Shawn asked, a worried tone in his voice.
I sat up and looked at him.
"I'm scared that your fans won't like me."

Shawn was headed on tour. He had brought me with him and was going to announce our relationship onstage.

"Babe! They will like you!" he assured.
"But what if they don't?" I asked still not confident

"Honey, they will love you. You're  such a loveable person it's hard not to love you! They will see what a wonderful person you are and they will truly adore you. And if they don't... at the end of the day they are my fans and they will try to be happy for me. Don't worry about it darling. I promise you it will be amazing once the world knows of our love. We will no longer have to keep it 'our secret'. We can go on dates and not worry about paparazzi catching us. We can hold hands in public and not worry about being 'exposed' . We can finally be us."

I smiled and squeezed shawn's hand tightley. "Shawn, Thank you for being so incredible. I love you my rockstar." I kissed him on the cheek.
I saw his cheeks turn pink. "Aw my love, are you blushing?" I teased, giggling.

He buried his head into my lap. I laughed before running my fingers through his brown curls. I smiled even though he couldn't see me. I was so happy I had someone like him by my side.

"Are you ready, beautiful?" Shawn asked as he held my hand. I nodded. We ran out onto stage.

"Hey guys! Thanks for coming out tonight! I hope you enjoyed Alessia Cara, she was absolutely incredible. I'm going to start my set soon but first I want to introduce you to somebody very special" Shawn spoke. "this is my beautiful girlfriend y/n"
The crowd erupted In cheers. I smiled at shawn as I waved at the fans. "See! They love you!" Shawn Shouted over the screams.

We were heading to the next city now. Connor, Mike , eddy, Zubin, Josiah, Alessia, Shawn and I entered the airport and walked towards the queues. The rest of the team were coming tomorrow. As we were laughing suddenly we heard a group of girls squeal. Fans.

"OH MY GOD ITS SHAWN MENDES!" They screamed. We headed over to them. Shawn took pictures with everybody. Just as we were about to leave, a girl called out. "Y/N!" We all turned around.
"Can I please have a picture? I'm a big fan!" I was taken off guard. I looked at shawn and started breathing heavily. "Uh- I- uh" I stuttered. "She would love to!" Shawn said patting the small of my back as reassurance. I posed with the girl and gave her a hug. "It was nice meeting you" I said before walking back to shawn and grabbing his hand.
"See, you have 'Big Fans'" Shawn laughed.

So basically I'm British and we say Aeroplane instead of Airplane so i didn't really know what to put as the title😂 Airplane just seems so weird to me idk
