but here you are sitting on her bed, crying your eyes out, as max was pacing back and forth.
"he's a piece of shit." max finally speaks. "hey, don't cry."
she crouches in front of you looking into your teary eyes.
"he doesn't deserve your tears." max says.
"i hate boys!" you say throwing your hands up. "i hate them!"
"maybe you need a girl instead." she speaks quietly.
"no girl would want to date me." you whisper.
"i do." she responds blushing a bright red.
"you do?" you smile wiping your tears.
"i do." she repeats. "i really really like you, y/n."
"i really really like you too, max." you say pulling her into a hug.
maybe you had it wrong all along, maybe girls were the way.
