GIZA PORT

I walked in between Jonathan and Evelyn as we walked on the boardwalk. Evelyn sighed before she asked us,
"Do you really think he'll show up?"

"I know his breed, he'll keep his word." Jonathan said to us as we stopped in front of the boat.

"What do you know about his breed?" I said smiling at my brother as I shifted the bags that I was carrying.

"Personally I think he's filthy, rude, and a complete scoundrel. I don't like him one bit." Evie said, she was still angry about his comments.

I softly smiled at her,
"He seems just fine to me."

"Anyone I know?"

I turned around to see a handsome man standing behind me, O'Connell. He had shaved, his hair had been cut, and he was wearing nice clothes. I must admit, he was quite handsome.

i smiled at him asI said,
"You clean up nicely."

He smirked back at me as I saw Evelyn curtesy as she stuttered,
"Oh um... Hello."

Jonathan smacked his arm,
"Smashing day for the start of an adventure, eh O'Connell!"

O'Connell nodded and he tucked his money farther into his jacket pocket. I smiled slightly as Evelyn asked,
"Mr.O'Connell can you look me in the eyes and tell me this isn't a film flam?"

"I truly hope it isn't otherwise I might have to kick your ass." I said, O'Connell rolled his eyes before he stepped closer to me.

"All I can tell to you sweetheart, is my whole damn Garrison beloved in it without orders they marched halfway across Libya, and into Egypt to find that city. Like I told you all we found was blood and sand.I'll take your bags." He said picking up our bags and walking away up the boat ramp.

I crossed my arms over my chest as I sighed. Evelyn hooked her arm in mine as she nervously asked,
"Do you think we can trust him?"

"Well we're just going to have to find out about that." I said giving her a small smile

BOAT

I sat at a table next to the edge of the boat as I cleaned my weapons and read through some books on hamunaptra. I dropped the knife I had been cleaning as a large bag was seton my table. I looked up to see O'Connell standing there with a sheepish grin on his face.

"Oh sorry." O'Connell said with a slight smirk.

I scoffed as I picked the knife back up and put it away in its case as I picked up my book,
"It takes a lot more that to scare me O'Connell."

He sat down across from me as he said,
"You're still mad about that kiss."

"If you call that a kiss." I said keeping my attention on the book in front of me.

I looked up when he opened his bag and there was a plethora of guns, ammo, knives, and dynamite. I hoped we wouldn't have to use al of that. I continued to read for awhile before I sighed and asked the question that had been lingering on my mind,
"Why did you kiss me?"

He looked up at me and shrugged,
"I was about to be hanged it seemed like a good idea."

I scoffed and slammed my book shut as I grabbed my ammo bag as I walked away. As I walked away I heard him say,
"What did I say?"

I sighed as I saw a camel in its pen. I put my bag around my shoulder as I gently pet the camel. After a few minutes I felt someone watching me. I turned my head to see O'Connell and another man staring at me.

I looked down as a blush formed on my cheeks before I walked back towards my room.
