Inspired by Spider-Man PS4 Game :)
It was a Tuesday morning, you and the rest of the debate team were waiting for the bus to take you to grand central station. Mr Harrington had set up a trip for yous as Norman Oscorp was holding a convention for debate teams for all schools there. The bus finally arrived at the school and you all got on. You sat down next to MJ and the bus began to drive away from the school.
"Right people, before we get there you are going to be in groups of 4 today, so let me tell you who you are all with." Mr Harrington began to read all the groups one by one until it got to the final group.
"Final group is MJ, Ned, Y/N and Peter, I hope everyone is okay with who they are with" He says before he sits back down in his seat. You couldn't help but be excited that you get to spend the day with Peter, I mean you really like him but you're too shy to say anything to him about it.
You look over to where Peter and Ned are sitting, Peter obviously caught you looking as he looks back at you, he smiles at you, you blush and look away from him.
"You happy Peter's in our group?" MJ asks you
"Maybe" You reply as you smile, she laughs
"I think he likes you too you know" She says
"I don't think he does, I mean I don't even speak to him" You say to her
"Just because you don't speak to him doesn't mean he doesn't like you back" She says, you go quiet.
"Besides I see they way he looks at you, it's cute" She says as she smiles at you, you smile back and then continue to talk as the bus makes its way to the convention.
When you get there you all make your way off the bus and make your way into the station, it had been completely shut down for the convention which was pretty cool, but there was a lot of security there that was really confusing but you brush it off and make your way inside. When you get in you are sent away in your groups as you make your way around it all. You walk beside Ned and look at all the stalls with different technology, you make your way over to a poster describing what Mr Osborn has been working on, GR-27.
"Pretty interesting" Someone says as they walk up next to you, you look up to see Peter.
"Yeah, it seems pretty dangerous though, don't you think?" You ask him
"Yeah, I read your article on it for the daily bulge" He says smiling at you
"You did, thanks" You say trying to hide that fact that your cheeks were going red
"Yeah, you're a really good writer" He says
"Thanks, just try my best" You say smiling at him
"I also saw your article on Spider-Man as well, that was pretty cool" he says
"Yeah, I hate it the way my boss makes him out to be a bad guy so I decided to write about him, state the facts about him not the rumours" you say smiling at him
"Well you did a good job" he says smiling
"Thanks" you say smiling back at him
"Wanna take a look at more stuff?" He asks you
"Sure" You say as you both begin to walk around together. You make your way into the main bit of the oscorp technology which has some really cool stuff. You walk above a pressure pad which makes you go invisible.
"This is so cool" You say as you step off and on the pad
"What's that?" You say as you point to a table with a glass container on it . You and Peter both make your way over to it to see what it is.
"Oh my god, it's the GR-27" You say as you look at it
"That's why all the security are here" You say as you look at Peter
"This isn't good" He says to you
"No, not at all" You say back, you and Peter begin to walk away from it, then station is filled with gunshots and screams.
"What's happening?" You say as you look around to see where it is coming from, looking through the crowds of people running away you see Martin Li.
"Peter look" You say, you both look in the direction of him as he is making his way in the direction towards you. Peter grabs your hand and you both begin to run to safety. You make your way behind a wall and peer out to see Mr Li over at the GR-27.
"He's gonna take it" You say as you look at Peter
"Right you stay here and I'm gonna try and find help" He says looking at you
"Are you crazy, if they see you trying to run they'll kill you, it's not safe Peter" You say looking at him worriedly
"Y/N trust me I'll be fine, okay" He says looking at you
"Okay but please be safe" You say to him
"I promise" He says before he jumps over the wall behind you, you look out from the other wall to see Martin's men surrounding groups of people with guns. You begin to back up so they don't see you but when you do you knock something off one of the tables behind you.
"Shit" You say, you hear someone coming over to you and you have nowhere to hide. The man comes up to you and grabs you, he walks you over to Martin Li himself.
"Boss, this one was trying to hide" He says to him
"Put her with the rest" He says, the man grabs you and throws you down on the ground with the rest of the people on the ground. You see MJ and Ned near you and you crawl to them.
"Where's Peter?" Ned asks you
"He's away getting help" You say to them
You hear Martin Li on the phone, he's trying to contact Mr Osborn, while he's not looking a man huddled on the ground stands up and makes his way to him. He swings to punch him but Martin dodges it and punches the man, he falls to the ground. He pulls out a gun and aims at the man. You stand up and yell at him.
"Wait, don't shout him!!" You yell with your hands up at your side
"Why not?" He says as he looks up at you
"Your trying to contact Mr Osborn, if you let me phone my work I could get into contact with him a lot quicker than you can" You say looking at him
"Fine" He moves the man back to the group and then grabs you and walks you towards one of his men and speaks to him in Chinese, the man grabs you and takes you away from everyone. You go behind a pillar near a staircase and he begins to point his gun at you.
"Call your work now" He says to you, you take your phone out and begin to phone your work, you look up from your phone to see Spider-Man hanging above him, he taps the mans shoulder which makes him turn around then grabs him and lifts him up. He sticks him to the pillar and then jumps back down to you.
"You alright?" He asks you
"Yeah I'm okay, thanks" You are in complete shock, you can't believe you are talking to Spider-Man.
"Okay well--" Before he can finish you both hear another one of Martins men come towards you. Spider-Man grabs your waist and shoots a web above you's so you don't get caught. He swings away and you both land on the balcony overlooking the main bit of Oscorps technology, where everyone is and the GR-27.
"Right I need you to help me out" He whispers to you
"What do you want me to do?" You ask him
"I need you to try and make your way to the GR-27 without being seen and disable it so Martin can't activate it" He whispers to you
"Okay I can do that" You say looking at him, he nods his head and shoots a web disappearing above you.
You begin to make your way to the stairs and down to where the GR-27 was being held. Whenever you come near one of Martin's men Spider-Man sneaks up and takes him out for you. You get closer and closer and finally make it to the GR-27. When no one is looking you disable it and make your way into the crowd of people while Spider-Man takes out the rest of Martin's men.
After Spider-Man fights Martin's men, he makes his way to Li to see he has escaped, while he goes after him you help everyone get out the building and make it to safety. After being outside for 20 minutes standing with MJ and Ned you see Spider-Man walking towards you.
"Hey" He says
"Hi" You say back
"You're Y/N right?" He asks you
"The one and only" You say back making him laugh
"I wanna say thank you for helping me" He says
"It's no problem, happy to help" You say back
"Well I gotta go" He says
"Right, well it was nice meeting you" You say to him
"You too" He says, you both turn away from each other and start walking away.
"Oh and Y/N" He shouts at you which makes you turn around
"I like the article you wrote about me" He says before shooting a web and swinging away. You smile at him and make your way back to Ned and MJ.
"Has any of you's seen Peter, I'm starting to worry about him" You ask them, before they can say anything they point behind you and you turn round. You see Peter walking towards you, you run up to him and wrap your arms around him.
"I was starting to worry about you, I'm glad you're okay" You say to him
"I'm okay, I'm glad you're okay too" He says hugging you back, you both let go of each other and smile. Mr Harrington calls Peter over to him and MJ walks up to you smirking.
"So you and Peter" she says smiling
"Oh shut up" you say laughing before you both walk over to join the rest of the class.
