-I remember the first time I saw you. It was a Monday morning at school, you walked down the halls with your timetable in your hand looking for your class, I could tell you were lost. I had never seen you at school before, the first thing I thought of when I saw you was how pretty you are, you are gorgeous. That was the first day we talked as well, I was late into school and you saw me, walked up to me and asked where science was and the best thing about it was that we were in the same class. Ever since that day we had become really close friends and have been ever since that day. But something has changed, I look at you in a different way now. I don't look at you as a person I like, I look at you as the person I've fallen for, a person I love and I can't help it. And the funny thing is I've always felt that way about you, ever since I met you. But I didn't do anything to show you until that night.
I remember the day I finally told you I had feelings for you. It was a Saturday night, Flash was having a party and we were all invited, I was waiting for Ned to pick me up. While I was waiting, I was standing in front of my mirror pretending you were in front of me, practising what I was gonna say to you, going over the things about how you made me feel. The things I loved about you. I was stressed, nervous and kept messing up.
I remember when I was doing this May sneaked up at my door and stood and watched me do it, I caught her and she laughed. She told me not to worry and take my time and just tell you how I feel. She was the one I talked to the most about you, how I felt and what I loved about you. She loves you, she's always wanted us to get together. I always said to her it would never happen, but at that time I never knew what was going to happen.
When me and Ned finally made it to Flash's house the only thing that ran through my mind was will you be there already, what will you think about what I was wearing, will you actually care that I'm coming to the party as well. But that all went out of my mind when I saw you. Laughing with MJ and some other people, I couldn't help but smile and couldn't help but look at you. You were dressed in a red summer dress with white polka dots on it, with white trainers. Your hair half up half down. You looked so pretty.
Then you started to walk towards me and Ned and I panicked and started to get nervous. You hugged Ned then me. You were so happy we were there and grabbed our hands and pulled us to MJ. We all stood and chatted away, laughing and joking about. Then one of your favourite songs came on, you grabbed my hand and we went into the living room. We started dancing and after a couple of seconds we both could tell we couldn't dance at all, but that didn't stop us, we kept dancing and laughing at each other.
After dancing for ages I went to get a drink with Ned, I told him in the kitchen I was gonna ask you if you wanted to go outside and then I would tell you how I felt. So I made my way back into the living room and saw you sitting in the couch next to MJ. I asked you if you wanted to go outside and you said yeah, we both made our way outside and walked around the garden. I turned and faced you and you looked at me suspiciously.
I remember I felt sick I was that nervous. You asked me if everything was okay and I told you I had to tell you something. I took a deep breath and said.
"Y/N, I've been waiting to tell you this for a while. But I've always been to nervous or scared to ever say something. But I think this is the best time to tell you that I love you. The first time I saw you I felt something and that's never gone away. It's always been you. You're the person I love and trust and you make me so happy when I'm with you. You make me laugh and feel like I'm the luckiest guy to be close to you, whenever I'm with you."
I remember thinking to myself, I couldn't believe I actually said that to you. But I wasn't finished there.
"And I was wondering if you wanted to be my girlfriend?" As soon as I asked you I looked down and then quickly back up to you and I saw you were crying. And I remember the reply you gave me.
"Peter, I've always liked you. When I first saw you I felt something too. And I know people don't believe in love at first sight, but that's how I really felt. And that fact that every day we just keep getting closer just makes me even like you more. And what you just told me there has made me the happiest person in the world."
You had the biggest smile when you said that to me. And I just couldn't believe you felt the same way about me. I wrapped my arms around your waist and spun you around.
"Wait you haven't answered my question" I remember looking at you when holding you. You put your arms around my neck and looked at me.
"Of course I'll be your girlfriend" You said to me smiling. I had the biggest smile on my face and then I remember leaning in and kissing you.
That was the best moment of my life and it has only been getting better with you. Y/N L/N I love you. You are the best girlfriend and I'm the luckiest guy to be with you. Happy anniversary. -
"Tony what're you reading" Pepper asks him while he looks at Peter's stuff.
"It's a letter Peter wrote for Y/N for their anniversary" He says looking at her with watery eyes.
"I miss that kid" He says standing up and setting the letter down.
"I miss them both" He says wiping the tears from his face. Pepper goes over to him and hugs him. It had been a year since the snap, Peter and Y/N didn't make it and Tony felt the guiltiest that he couldn't do anything to bring them back. But there was nothing he could do. No one could...
