Chapter 32

Eren has kissed me more than once in the past and each time I never kissed him back.

He always caught me off guard and the idea of kissing him then was... not appealing.

But right now, being illuminated by a fancy lamppost next to the lake at Disneyland, I was kissing him back. Well and truly taking in this moment and just...taking in Eren

My fingers were playing with the ends of his hair as our tongues danced together. I took in his taste and it was refreshing not to be smelling the remnants of his last cigarette. Just some musky cologne he had put on before leaving.

I let out a soft moan of pure bliss which made Eren grin.

Unfortunately, this caused our teeth to clash together and we both retracted with awkward chuckles. I still had my hands resting on the back of his neck and Eren kept his hands around my waist.

We gazed at one another for a moment. Eren's expression was so bright it was almost blinding. He was smiling like the Chesire Cat as he looked down on me

"Why are you smiling like that?" I ask him in amusement. I was feeling so giddy and I couldn't seem to stop smiling myself

He shakes his head and closes his eyes for a moment. He opens them as he brings his hands to my cheeks and holds my face in his hands

"Do you honestly have feelings for me, Addy?" He asks as he holds my face, like he still doesn't believe me after what I said...even after that kiss

For a moment, I believe hes just messing with me. The boy who has girls falling at his feet for him is questioning my attraction to him?
His ego is so big I'm surprised he could ask such an insecure question

"It really hit me last night...but I know I've been into you for longer..." i say quietly, biting my lip sheepishly

He kisses me again

And again. And again

Like he couldn't quite believe what he was hearing or that his lips were against mine.

When he finally pulled away again, giving me the chance to look into his gorgeous eyes, he was grinning like an idiot

"You have no idea how long ive been-" He cuts himself off and theres a moment of uncertainty, a flicker of panic in his eyes "How long I've been wanting you to kiss me back like that" he continues with a smaller smile than before but he just looks so goddamn happy.

Why is he so happy i kissed him back finally?

"Im guessing since prom?" I state, raising an eyebrow. It's not hard, just trace back to the time this idiot stole my first kiss.

He winks at me and rubs his thumb against my cheek

"Exactly, princess" he kisses my forehead softly as i melt under his touch at that nick name... that nickname that was most definitely a pet name. Now i can really understand why Andrew was so....

Andrew! Oh my god

I push Eren away from me and cover my lips with my fingers.

Fuck!

I squeeze my eyes shut and in a guilty panic i squat where I am standing, gripping my head the best i can with these damn buns in the way

"Woah, Addy. Whats wrong?" Eren asks with concern dripping in his voice as he squats down beside me. I feel his hand on my back and i flinch away from the shock that came with the feeling of his hand placed gently on my back

I almost hiss at it. He quickly retracts his hand looking guilty

"I'm sorry"

"Whyre you apologising!?" I yell at him starting to feel my eyes sting from a random spurt of emotions that were hitting me
