Lunch with Eren was lovely. We spoke casually with one another about our first lecture and our new experiences so far at college.

For a moment, when Eren was talking about the books he would have to read for English, I thought about how strange it was to be sat here- just Eren and I- no arguing or snide comments, just idle chatter and it felt so good.

I watched the smile that never left his face as he spoke about one of the books he was particularly excited about as he ate his lunch.

It didn't cross my mind to tell him about David being in our college  before he had to leave for his next lecture

Once Eren and I parted ways, I decided to head to the library. It was hot and stuffy in there from the amount of students who have come and gone throughout the day but it was better than sitting on my own in the common room for the next hour or so.

I can either review the work we had started in history or go on my phone to kill the time… I was really leaning towards the latter

It was quite busy still even though many lectures start around this time so the first section of seats was filled. Some students were working hard with headphones in, others in bigger groups appearing to be getting on with work whilst others are just using the library as a second common room and were being extremely noisy

I start making my way to the next section of seats the other side of the computers that were almost empty when I hear my name being called from the side of the room.

I stop and look around, confused as to who might be calling me. Ian is currently in his lecture right now too and I don't know who… I spot David ushering me over by the row of computers lining the east wall.

Davids voice caught more than my attention causing a lot of people who weren't working to look my way. I instantly looked down. It was like muscle memory now to avoid unnecessary attention like that. I keep my eyes trained to the floor until I get to David, weaving around a few desks before I reached him

The exact moment I start to look up to greet David, I get struck in the stomach by the back of one of the computers wheely chairs, hard. I let out a pained groan and clutch my stomach to stop my knees from buckling

"Jesus! Shit! Are you okay?" I hear from the guy who had been sitting on the chair but was now on his feet by my side. I was leaning forward slightly to ease some of the pain in my stomach so I could only see the belly of his faded grey t-shirt

"Addy, oh my god" I hear David from in front of me. I couldn't place his tone…he sounded worried but more than that, amused. The ache in my stomach was already beginning to fade so I straightend my back and took a deep breath

"It's fine… I'm fine" I shrug, forcing a smile to David who did not look convinced. I was right though. His eyes appeared concerned but there was a small grin on his lips. I turned my head to the boy beside me and I had to take a step back

He was VERY tall

His black jeans looked a bit longer than three quarters, but they weren't quite ankle grazers either. His feet looked huge too.

"I'm…I'm sorry for walking into the back of your chair" I apologise quietly.

I had my eyes on the ground which was my mistake. If i don't look where I'm going things like this are bound to happen...but the sheer speed he came out from the desk… I still think he would have hit me. I wasn't about to tell him that though

I had my eyes trained on the monitor beside him. I couldn't help but find it difficult to make eye contact with him.He was intimidating. Even though he wasn't built as muscular as Eren, he was taller than him and looming over me.
