We where both breathless just looking at each other, not saying anything

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that" he said breaking eye contact with me to look at the floor, I put my finger on his chin and brought his eyeline back to mine

"Why?"

"It was wrong of me, you where sad and I just got carried away" he said trying to look away again but I kept my fingers firmly planted on his chin

"I'm glad you did"

"I really am sorry I- Wait What?" He asked

"I said, I'm glad you did"

He sat down on the bed and I followed after him

"I like you Emerson, I have since I first saw you, I really like you" He said quietly as if he was almost ashamed to admit it

"I like you too" I finally understood my feelings, the kiss cleared it all up. I chose Sawyer

"But how would this work, I'm 21, it's sort of illegal" he said in all seriousness

"I'm 18 in a few weeks, even if I wasn't it wouldn't change how I feel, but I just don't understand why you would want to be with a teenager when you could be with someone your own age" I really was confused, He's and adult and I'm, well, I'm me.

"Your age doesn't change how I see you, an amazing, beautiful girl" he said

I smiled but stayed silent, I didn't really know how to respond to that

"Let me take you on a date first, see how it goes" he asked looking hopeful, how could I say No to that face

"I would love to go on a date with you" I said giving him a quick hug

"Ok then, Friday 7pm, be ready" he said as if I wasn't going to see him till then and I smiled

"Where are we going?"

"It's a surprise"

"Well how do I know what to wear?" I asked confused

"Just wear something comfy and casual" I nod thinking of outfit ideas

"What do we tell the boys?" I ask him

"Nothing, not yet. I don't know if you know this but they all have a thing for you, I guess I'm just the lucky one" he smiles and I smile back at his happiness

He makes me happy, I don't know why it took me this long to realise it.

"I'm sure they don't all like me, they probably think of me of a sister" Sawyer scoffed at this

"Yeah a sister they kiss," Sweet Home Alabama "but now they won't get that lucky" I stayed silent at this at looked at the ground

"Well some of them have already been there" I laughed

"Yeah But I can forget about Daniel, maybe, and you only kissed Jacob to help yourself" I squinted a little when I looked at him

"Wellllllll" I started and his face dropped

"There's more!?" He exclaimed and I nodded, he wafted his hand for me to continue

"Just Luke" I mumbled

"Is that what happened in the bathroom, that you wouldn't tell us about" he glared at me

"Not the first time" I slapped my hand over my mouth after I said it, I'm just digging myself into a deeper hole

"You two where in the shower more than once together?!" He looked at me in disbelief

"Yeah, weird right, I'm really hungry can we get food?" I smiled innocently giving my shoulders a little shrug and started to change the subject
