The 5 Best Friends

Chapter 5~~~~~

Beginning of the week... Aww! It's Monday once again and today we have a certain lesson with a certain person, which would mean we would be seeing the nightingale! I have for no idea if that's good news or bad news.

On one hand we can try and get more information about our powers but on the other hand, I'm totally terrified of her! I mean common, it's a monster stabbing teacher that was already scary enough before all this!

First period... YES, WAIT NO I MEAN YES! The whole class waits outside the classroom. A few minutes later she beckons us inside to start the lesson. Today's learning objective is to figure out what... something... stands for so that we can use it in our assessment. I wasn't really paying attention since I was thinking about my nightmare.

Nightingale shouted " Yili! what is the question that I just asked you?" My face went blank and she told me to next time pay more attention.

The bell rang and we went to our next lesson then the next then the next and so on until the end of the day. Me and the others were at our lockers when the nightingale appeared...

"It's time you knew more about your powers." she said. "Follow me!"

She brought us to the canteen."Go take a seat by that pillar over there!", she exclaimed.

We did as we were told and sat there until Kelly broke the silence."So, now what, and why are we in the canteen to talk about our powers?" she asked

" Because Kelly, I am here to show you something." and with that she put her hand at the bottom of the pillar we heard clicking and sounds of mechanics going throughout the pillar.

We were sitting down and all of a sudden metal cords shot from our seats and wrapped around us. Then the floor beneath us expanded from a tiny puny little hole to what seemed like a whole crater!

We all fell through the whole and kept on falling and falling. I tried to scream but I couldn't hear myself over the sound of the deafening wind. The others seemed to be staring at the bottom. Why didn't I think of that?

I looked down and saw something terrifying. A CONCRETE GROUND! Time to start screaming again. "Aaaaahhhh!"

The ground was zooming in. Closer... Closer... And, nothing. I was still falling and the ground had disappeared to my relief, but then I saw another ground. The same thing happened as before I closed my eyes and kept going on until I was brave enough to open them. I opened my eyes and awaited my death on a concrete floor. Out of all of the weirdest things that have happened to me so far, this is definitely one of the weirdest. I went right through the concrete.

I just realized that my friends and nightingale had disappeared, that's not good. Screaming time again " AAAHHHHHH!"

" Hi Yili!" Said Yu-Xuan.

" I just fell through a slab of concrete about, I don't know! A trillion times! and hi is all I get?"

" Enough!" exclaimed nightingale.

" Do you girls realize that you are in a room that doesn't actually suppose to exist in our school?"

" Nope!" We all shouted in chorus.

" Well you are and you are going to have to learn to control your powers by the next time mars comes near enough to earth that you can see it! And that's going to happen in 3 months time!"

" And just so you girls know, you all don't just have one power, you all have two each." she explained.
