Killmonger was already a pretty violent and angry person, but nothing compared to now. I had been captured by an enemy tribe and Killmonger came to retrieve me. "Hand her over now, or die." He raised his voice, his eyes filled with rage. I've never seen him like this before. The small hairs on my arms stood on end, not knowing how this was going to play out. Their leader stepped up in front of him, challenging him. That only fueled his rage. He looked at me. Something changed in his eyes when they looked into mine. They were soft and kind. I know for a fact that I'm getting out of here.
