22. Decorating The Nursery

I just moved in with Daniel and today we are decorating our baby boys nursery. We are so excited to start decorating his room. It will feel more real when it's complete. We know exactly how we want it to look. We have a bit of an elephant theme going on. First we start off by painting the walls a light grey colour. May seem a dull colour for a baby's room but we are basing it on a picture we saw online. Daniel does the high parts of the walls while I do the lower bits. We put some wallpaper things on the wall too when it has dried. We already assembled the crib so we move it in and then the dresser. We also have a nice comfy nursing chair where I can feed him. We then decorate the room with a few other things like boys and we put the bedding in the crib and the mobile. "I think it looks amazing, baby" Daniel said when we had finished. "It does. I love our boys room" I say. "I just can't wait for him to be here now" Daniel smiles placing his hand on my bump

Corbyn 💙

Today Corbyn and I are going to be busy decorating our baby girls nursery. We need to make a start on it as she could be here soon. Can't wait till she is. We have almost everything for the nursery ready. We already painted the walls and put some wall decals on the wall. We've decided to go for a jungle theme with koala, monkeys, elephants and birds. It's going to look super cute for our little girl when it's done. First of all Corbyn and I assemble the crib. He mainly does it as he doesn't want me doing too much. "Babe, don't bend down. I don't want you hurting yourself" he said. "Thank you for your concern, babe. But I'm fine" I reply. When we've made up the crib, Corbyn hangs a mobile on the side and I put the bedding on and drape a quilt on the side. We then bring in the chair we ordered and set up a lamp and the dresser. I also put a couple of stuffed animals in the room too before it was almost complete. "There we are. We're about done. It looks perfect, babe" Corbyn said. "It does. Team work" I say. "Team work from the two of us, my love" he said. "Our little girl is going to love this when she's here" I reply. "She is. And she has a very talented mommy and daddy too" Corbyn said kissing me

Jonah ❤️

Today Jonah and I are busy getting our twins nursery ready. Because we are having twins. They could come anytime so we want to get the nursery all ready today while we've got a free day. We can't wait to get our little ones nursery ready. Jonah and I get into some old clothes so we can paint the walls first. We go going with a nice subtle beige colour with a bit of white. We paint it between us. It's looking good so far. A splash of paint can completely transform a wall. We carry on painting the wall till it was done. Then we move the cribs and other furniture in. Our dads were up the other day and they helped us assemble the cribs and stuff which was helpful. We put a two nice rugs in before moving the cribs in. Jonah moves then in and we put them into place. We have decided not to put the cribs next to each other as we don't want the babies to disturb each other. We then bring in a few more things and hang the mobiles on the the cribs before decorating the room with other things we bought. It looks perfect in the end. We are so proud of it. "Wow! It looks great, babe" Jonah said when we had finished. "It is. It's amazing. Isn't it" I reply. He smiles and kisses me

Jack 💚

Jack and I are decorating our baby boys nursery in our new apartment that we've just moved in today. We can't wait to get started on it and we know exactly how we want it. Jack's dad John is over to give us a hand with everything. Jack and John first plaster the wallpaper we have got for one of the walls. It's a dark blue with stars on and looks really nice. We are going to stick a wall decal that says 'Dream Big' on it. I watch them do that while I get a few more things organised. We are putting two shelves up on the wall near the dresser and changing unit. Jack and John will do that. They assemble the crib next with a bit of my help. We then put the crib in place and they put the shelves up on the wall next to the wallpaper. We will probably put his name on that wall when we've decided on it of course. When the shelves were up, John leaves Jack and I to arrange the room how we wanted it. "Our boy is going to love this room" he said. "He is. When he's here to enjoy it" I reply. Jack smiles and put his arms around me and touches my bump and kisses me. The nursery looks great and we Thank John for all the help he's given us today. We couldn't have done it without him

Zach 🧡

Today Zach and I are so excited to start decorating our little girls room. It's going to be one fit for a princess. Zach is going to be moving into my moms place when the baby comes so we can't wait for that. The wall was already decorated so that didn't need doing. First of all we assemble the crib. Zach was a little naive using the tools so I helped him. We got the crib set up then we do the dresser and changing table. I also fitted some special curtains in that we got especially for the baby. They are cute. Zach and I then bring a a comfy chair and some cushions from my moms room that she's giving to us. I put a few stuffed animals around the room and a wall decal before it was complete. "It looks so cute. Just perfect for our little princess" Zach said. "It does. Thank you for helping me" I reply. "You're welcome. I wouldn't have let you do it without me" he said. Zach smiles and kisses me and we admire our little girls room for a while and it's perfect

A/ N: guys just to let me know that I'm going away this weekend and won't be able to post much. I might update this book once. Next chapter is baby names. My imagines book I won't really be doing any. May just one Sunday night when I'm back. Don't worry I'll still be online
