44. Baby's First Smile

Daniel and I are chilling at home with baby Teddy. He just got back from the studio and we are having some family time together like we do we every evening Teddy is laid on Daniel's lap and I'm sat next to them. "He's just do cute isn't he" he said. "He is. The cutest little boy in the world" I reply. "We have definitely been blessed with this little one. Haven't we" Daniel said. He holds Teddy's hands as he lays on his lap. Teddy then smiles at his daddy. "Wait was that a smile. His first smile" he said. "Yes I think it was. Come on, Teddy smile again this time for mommy" I say. Teddy smiles again a few minutes later for me. Awww it was such a beautiful moment seeing our little boy smile for the first time

Corbyn 💙

I have just got Astrid up for the day and I'm in her room getting her changed and ready. Corbyn is in the kitchen getting breakfast ready. He's making pancakes and I can smell it. I'm changing Astrid on her changing table right now. I'm putting her a fresh onesie on for the day. As I'm changing her, I see her smiling at me. She hasn't really smiled properly yet. Kinda but not a proper smile. "Corbyn, come here" I say. "What is it, babe? Everything okay" he said. "Yeah Astrid just smiled for the first time" I say. "She did" he replies. "Yep she did" I reply. "Smile for daddy, baby girl. He wants to see your smile" Corbyn said to Astrid. He tickles her belly and she smiles at him again. "Yay! That's my girl. You smiled at daddy" he said picking her up and kissing her. Awwww Yay! Our baby girl smiled for the first time. We are so happy

His POV

I am watching the twins while Y/ N is in the shower. I looking at them while they are laying in their bouncy chairs. I've been trying to get them to smile by pulling funny faces at them and smiling at them myself. They are just so adorable are our little ones. They love bouncing in their bouncy chairs. They could do it all day long if they could. I wish I was a baby again lol. Y/ N shouldn't be too much longer in the shower. As I'm watching Lauren and Luke, Y/ N walks in after her shower. "Hey, have they been good" she said. "They've been excellent" I reply. "Great" Y/ N said. "I've been trying to get them to smile at me but they are not doing it" I say. "I'm sure they will soon. They might do it for mommy" she replies. Y/ N try and gets the babies to smile at us. Lauren gave out a little smile at us. "Yay! She smiled" I exclaim. I try to get Luke to smile. "Come on, Lukey. Smile for daddy" I say. Luke wouldn't smile but I guess he'll do it in his own time. Anyway at least Lauren smiled for us tonight

Jack 💚

Jack and I are in the grocery store doing the weekly shopping. We are with baby Joe of course as we take him when we do the shopping. He's so cute and is growing really fast. Almost too fast. Jack is pushing the cart down the aisles. Joe is currently awake and strapped into his car seat. I am putting things in the cart as I see things that we need. I don't bother making a list as I know what we get every week so there's no point really. We are down the dairy aisle getting cheese, milk, butter and stuff like that. "Look, babe. Joe, just smiled at me" Jack said as I was getting something out of the fridge. "Oh did he. Let's see if he does it again" I reply. I go over to Joe and he smiles at me again. "Yesssss he's smiling. I was hoping he'd smile and I was hoping he'd smile at me first" Jack said. "Yeah that's so sweet. He's so cute" I reply. Jack smiles and kisses me

Zach 🧡

Zach and I are having a chill day at home with Emily today. It's Saturday so both of our days off but we have just decided to have a day at home. We like having chill days as a family with Emily. We don't go out too much tbh. Zach is holding Emily in his arms as we are sat on the couch together. He's smiling at her and touching her hand. Just doing cute things with her. I love watching them together. They have really bonded as father and daughter. Emily was trying to smile at Zach. She is smiling at him actually. "Look, babe. Did you see? She's smiling at me" he said. "Awe. She is. That's her first smile" I reply. "It is. Do it again, Em" Zach says. Emily smiles at him a little bit again. It was such a cute and special moment seeing our daughter smile at us for the first time. Emily is adorable and beautiful

A/ N: that bit was short but sweet but it was enough. I am doing three more baby milestone chapters. I could do more but I'm only choosing the key four to do. The next part will be set a few months on. This part is at about two months old. Hope you liked it
