25. Getting Ready For Baby

I am due in the next couple of weeks and Daniel and I can't wait for the birth of our son Teddy. I've been in a panic making sure everything is organised and perfect just in case he comes early. I am sat on the floor in Teddy's room getting some stuff packed in the hospital bag ready for when he comes home. Daniel walks in and says "Babe, you shouldn't be doing that. Get yo off the floor". "I'm okay, Dani. Just doing something that will keep me busy. "Okay, sweetie but let me help you. Don't want you over doing things" Daniel said. "Okay, Dani. Thanks" I reply. He sits down next to me and help me get things ready. Teddy's coming home from the hospital outfit is that cute bear fleecy onesie we got him. Awww it's so amazing. Daniel and I get things organised between us and get it done twice as quick

Corbyn 💙

It's getting so close to baby Astrid being here. Corbyn and I can't wait to welcome our little girl into the world. We are so excited to be parents to her. She's going to be so beautiful. We just want the day to come for when she's here in our arms. We gave wanted a family together ever since we got together. We have a lot to get ready for her arrival as she could be here soon. Corbyn and I are in baby Astrid's room getting things ready. I'm organising the closet and he's tidying up the room. "Babe, have you got everything ready in the hospital bag?" Corbyn asks. "Yeah I think so but I'll just go and check" I say. I get the hospital bag out of the closet and check over. "Wait I think I've forgotten something" I say. "Hey. Let me see" he said. Corbyn comes over and checks over. "So we've got an outfit for her when she comes home, blanket, pacifier, diaper, nipple pads, nursing bra, slippers for you, body lotion, pjs, your own personal cosmetic things. Think you've got everything, babe so don't worry" Corbyn said. "Oh Yeah. Sorry I couldn't think. My brains gone to mush. Baby brain" I reply. "It's okay, sweetie. I understand. At least you've got me here" he said. "I have, baby" I reply as Corbyn puts his arms around me

Jonah ❤️

Jonah and I have been getting ready for the arrival of our twins. They could come anytime now as the usual time for twins to come is 32 to 37 weeks and I'm somewhere in that gap right now so we have to be ready for whenever as they are likely to come like anytime. Jonah has been amazing and doing a lot round the house. I've been absolutely exhausted like all the time. As the twins get bigger it impacts my life more. I've been pretty much in bed all the time and Jonah has understood that. Right now I'm in bed and Jonah is getting things ready in the twins' room like stuff for when they come home from the hospital. We can't wait to meet them. Lauren and Luke. As I'm resting in bed, the door of our bedroom opens and Jonah walks in. "Sorry to disturb you, babe but are these outfits okay for the twins when they come home" he said. "Yep those are the ones I said" I reply. "Sorry, babe to come in. I just wanted to make sure but I'll leave you in peace now" Jonah said. "No it's fine. Stay" I reply. "Okay, honey" he replies laying next to me in bed and putting his arms around me and holding me. He kisses me slowly too. Jonah is the best

Jack 💚

Jack is away on tour but he's coming home today and I can't wait to see him. I've missed him so much but he'll be home just in time for the birth of baby Joe. I'm due in the next few weeks and we can't wait to meet our little man when he's born. He's gonna be handsome just like his daddy. That's what Jack is hoping for. My brother is over at my place helping me get some things organised. I bought some letters for the wall that spells out Joe's name. I want them on the wall in time for Jack coming home. My brother is a DIY man so he's here to help with that. "Where do you want it, Y/ N?" my brother asks. "Just in the middle somewhere" I reply. "No problem" he says. My brother gets up on a ladder and fixes every letter of Joe's name into the wall. I know Jack is gonna love it when he comes home. After that my brother helps me get a few other things organised before Jack arrives back. I hear the front door of our apartment open. "Hey, babe, I'm home" he said. "Hey, babe. Just in the nursery" I reply. Jack walks into the nursery where me and my brother are in. "Hey, guys. Y/ B/ N nice of you to come by" Jack said. My brother smiles. "Hey, babe" he said kissing me. "Jack, look do you notice a change" I say. He turns around and looks at the wall. "Oh Yes. It spells Joe. I really like that, babe. Great idea" he said. "Well you have, Y/ B/ N's to thank" I say. "Thanks, mate" He said. I knew Jack would love what I got and he does. He's home just in time for the birth of our son

Zach 💚

Tonight Zach is coming over to help me get some stuff organising for our baby. I don't really have anything ready or prepared. None of her clothes are organised. They are washed and ironed but not in the closet or drawers. I had my baby shower last week as arranged by my mom which was great. Obviously Zach wasn't there as it's only for girls. The doorbell rings at 7pm sharpish and I go and answer it. It's Zach of course. "Hey, baby" he said. "Hey, Zachy" I say. "How are you?" he asks. "I'm alright. Are you?" I reply. He nods his head and hugs and kisses me. We go into Emily's room and start organising things. "So what needs going where in the closet?" Zach asks. "Well newborn things will be first then 3-6 months and so on" I reply. "Okay we can both do this between us" he said. So both of us start by putting newborn clothes in the closet and then 3-6 month clothes etc. We do that between us and it doesn't make too long as we haven't got a tonne of clothes. Next we go to the dresser and fold up onesies starting with newborn of course, then we do bibs, blankets and other things that belong in drawers. Zach then helps me get some things ready in my hospital bag for when Emily comes home. It takes us a couple of hours to do everything in total. Then we sit down for some dinner. "Think we have done good, babe" Zach said. "Yes we have we've done great. I feel better that we are organised now" I reply. "Yeah me too" he smiles putting his arms around me
