After hours of tiring conversations and dancing, Percy and Annabeth were headed to the airport on their honeymoon to Greece.

They had mutually decided to go to Greece, even if it was a little tacky. Sure, their parents were both Greek deities, but Greece was gorgeous, no denying it.

Their friends had offered to drop them off at the airport, but they wanted to be alone. After all, they had just gotten married. They felt they deserved some alone time.

"You ready?!" Percy asked excitedly as the cab pulled up to the airport parking lot. Percy had been very excited as he hadn't left the country until he went on that stupid quest, and when they were on their quest they didn't have much time for sightseeing or normal touristy stuff.

Annabeth rolled her eyes as she paid the cabbie. "You're relentless, you know that?" She loved teasing Percy, but she was excited, too.

Percy slipped his hand into Annabeth's and held his luggage in the others. In his luggage were clothes for a week in Greece, his electronics and their respective chargers, and a few other miscellaneous items.

They had both brought their weapons in case the monsters in Greece were bad. They weren't worried about airport security, though. The mist concealed the highly dangerous weapons they held.

After the boring process of getting their tickets and going through security, they were in line and preparing to board. They didn't have first class tickets as they were still struggling with money, especially after their wedding, but their seats were alright. It's not like they'd gone for a vacation; the only thing that mattered to them was that they were together.

On the plane Percy suddenly realized how bad his fear of heights was and immediately gripped onto Annabeth's hand for support.

Annabeth, seeing how upset Percy was, started soothing him. "It'll be okay. Nothing bad will
happen to us on our honeymoon. Nothing plane related, anyways."

Percy frowned and squinted at her. "Why'd you say that?! Now I'm nervous about this...maybe we should just honeymoon in the Empire State Building, or in the Statue of Liberty!"

Annabeth rolled her eyes. "I don't think that's legal, or is a thing."

Percy smiled and wrapped an arm around her. He breathed in her signature scent and smiled at how calming she was. Just her presence was enough for him to calm down immediately.

The flight was long and tedious, but they finally landed safely. They collected their luggage and headed out of the airport.

After lots of confused conversations, they found a taxi driver who understood a bit of English and a bit of Percy and Annabeth's messy Greek.

When they arrived at their hotel, they were glad to see that the management there spoke English, so there would be no more translation errors. The receptionist gladly checked them in and gave them their room keys.

"Finally," Annabeth groaned as she threw herself onto the bed.

"Hey, our room has a balcony!" Percy shrieked as he ran outside. Annabeth rolled her eyes before heaving herself off the bed. She started quickly unpacking their suitcases when she noticed Percy's phone was ringing, and that he'd left it inside.

Annabeth cautiously picked up the phone and answered it. "Hello, this is Percy Jackson's phone."

"Great, he's just the man I'm trying to reach," a deep voice boomed on the other end. "I'm calling in reference to his job interview at Johnson Marine Research Center yesterday."

"Yesterday?" Annabeth laughed. "I think you're confused. I'm Percy's wife, we, uh, got married yesterday."

"Oh, well, I remember interviewing with Percy yesterday," the man replied.

Annabeth frowned. "Let me go get Percy for you."

Annabeth stepped out onto the balcony, holding Percy's phone. "Someone from a Johnson Marine Research Center is calling you. Something about you having an interview yesterday?"

Percy blinked and hastily accepted the phone. "Thanks. Yes, hello? This is Percy speaking."

Percy bolted inside the room, blaming it on 'bad wifi' although that made no sense to Annabeth.

Why would Percy keep something from her? That wasn't the relationship she knew.

After a good couple of minutes Percy returned to the balcony, empty handed. He sat down besides Annabeth.

"I got a job."

Annabeth's eyes widened. "How?"

Percy sat up. "So, you're probably going to be mad at me, but I did an interview yesterday."

"Yesterday, as in our wedding day?" Annabeth asked, raising an eyebrow.

Percy nodded and stared down at his shoes. "Yes, yesterday. Our wedding day."

"And who thought this was a good idea? Was it you?" Annabeth asked sharply.

"It was partly Grover!" Percy blamed.

Annabeth rolled her eyes. "Congratulations, Percy. But if you would've been late, you would've regretted being born."

Percy smiled. "I love you."

"I love you, too."

Annabeth pulled Percy into a hug and buried her head in his chest.

"I'm proud of you," Annabeth gushed as they pulled apart. "Now we'll have a bit of extra money."

"Yeah, but don't you think we should start saving?" Percy asked.

Annabeth smiled. "Ooh, are you responsible now, too?"

Percy chuckled. "I guess you could say that, but I'm thinking for, you know, kids. Those things are expensive, but now I have a better job, and-"

"Woah, woah, woah. Slow down," Annabeth said. "Kids? I thought we agreed on going with the flow, seeing what happens."

"And I'm all for that, but when we have kids I want to make sure we have some money saved up," Percy replied.

Annabeth sighed. "Not when, if. I'm not even sure I want kids yet. Just because I'm with you doesn't mean we're going to have kids and being with you changes my mind."

"Well, it should," Percy responded. "I want kids, a lot."

"Let's just...hit pause on this argument for now," she advised. "After all, we don't want to ruin our honeymoon, right?"

Percy nodded. "I agree. Let's just go celebrate our marriage."

"Let's go out and celebrate you getting the job," Annabeth suggested. "A nice dinner, how does that sound?"

"Great," Percy agreed. They located a nice American style restaurant and ate quickly and quietly. They both tried to act normal although they were both thinking about their argument, and how they couldn't just press pause on it.
