He woke up to a pounding headache and the smell of freshly made eggs and toast in the air. He sat up in the bed and groaned and looked around in the unfamiliar bedroom with no one but him in the bed. His first thought was trying to think whether there was any girl with them the previous night but he could only remember Soojung. He looked around in the room to get a hint about the resident but the room was rather sparsely furnitured – just a bed, lamp, closet and a small bedside table on which there was a glass of water with 2 aspirins and a note telling him to take it. He recognized the handwriting, Soojung but he was pretty sure he had not slept with her because, for one, he was still fully clothed in clothes of the previous night. He took the aspirin and thanked her in his head and went out towards the heavenly smell of toast and eggs.

He went out and saw Soojung cooking in the open kitchen and Hongjoong sitting on the barstool looking towards her with want (probably for food).

He was just about to walk towards them when San got out of a door to his right with wet hair and face, so probably a bathroom, and went whining towards her and hugged her from behind and snuggled to her.

"Yaah! Let me cook"

"But I wanna cuddle!" he whined and she laughed turning around, with San clinging to her back to serve Hongjoong when she made eye contact with him. "Oh you're up. Breakfast?" she asked him, showing the pan she had eggs in which she served to Hongjoong who muttered a thank you to her after nodding towards him.

"You can freshen up first" she said pointing towards the door San come out of. "You can pick a t-shirt and sweatpants from the couch whichever fits you. They're San's." she added pointing towards the couch which had a huge stack of clothes.

"Those are.. A lot." He said slowly.

"She tends to steal my clothes a lot."

"Yaah! It's mostly what I wear after partying all night and crashing at his. And I always offer to return them but he never takes them."

"You look good in my clothes" San cooed at her and she rolled her eyes at him whereas Hongjoong groaned at their antics. Seonghwa was watching this interaction rather carefully and realized that all of them were wearing San's clothes, except for Soojung of course who was only wearing San's t-shirt which reached her mid-thighs and he wondered if she was wearing anything underneath.

Shaking his head he picked up a pair of sweatpants and t-shirt and went in to freshen up.

He came out and just then Soojung was serving his and her own plate, she smiled at him and sat down at the dining table and patted the seat next to her, Hongjoong moved and sat in front of her and San beside him. Seonghwa sat down and suddenly she stood up. "Coffee!" and went towards the pot in the kitchen. Seonghwa saw her walking but couldn't help but look at her legs, they were rather toned okay? And she rarely wore shorts and stuff. Her usual attire consisted of jeans and pants. He looked at Hongjoong and saw he wasn't the only one looking at her legs and couldn't help but feel a bit of anger rising inside him. He looked at San who had his eyes narrowed at him only.

"Soojung-ah" he spoke.

"Yeah?"

"I think you should wear pants under that t-shirt."

He heard Hongjoong choke on the food he was chewing. He would have blushed too had he not been busy having a staring competition.

"And I think you should mind your own business." She said while coming from the kitchen and sitting and eating her breakfast. Hongjoong snickered at the pout San was sporting afterward.

"What's with the scarce furniture in the apartment?" Seonghwa asked after a while.

"Yeah, I was curious as well." Hongjoong added.

She shrugged in response. "I only come here to sleep. Sometimes even that is done at San's. I don't really care about this apartment much."

"What about those?" Hongjoong asked pointing towards a bunch of pictures of San and San and her on the wall beside the dining table.

She pointed at San in return. "All him. He likes making this apartment more personal."

"It should be! You literally bought this to live in, so make it more home-ly." San said to which she again shrugged and chose not to respond.

Everyone who knew San, like really KNEW him, knew he was much more than the 'playboy who sleeps around a lot' he portrays himself to be. He was a huge softie, loved plushies and was super clingy and loved skinship. That was the reason why Seonghwa was sure there was more to Soojung as well. And it seemed true to some extent when he saw her at his home and all. But now Seonghwa wondered what could be the reason for her being so unattached and unaffected like this. What could have happened that made her like this? He wanted to know.

He looked at her face and wanted to say how twisted it is, the way she doesn't care about all that. He wanted to have her care, help her care.

She looked up at him to see him staring at her and them smiled and pointed at his breakfast in front of him. He let out a chuckle and resumed eating.

After a few more minutes, Hongjoong spoke up, "Are you two seriously not dating? In secret or anything?"

Seonghwa looked up at his best friend who was alternatively looking at San and Soojung who both nodded their head in a No.

"Why?" San asked.

"Just.. Look at you two. You guys are really close. All that skinship. And yesterday your dance. I mean there was this classmate of mine who had a thing for San who was there yesterday and came to me and asked if he was single. Before I could answer, you took Soojung on stage to dance and after seeing you two dance for a few seconds, she left my side mumbling something along the lines of 'I guess not'."

San and Soojung burst out laughing at that and Hongjoong was chucking a bit too. The only person who didn't find it funny was Seonghwa who was angrily stabbing his eggs which didn't go unnoticed by Hongjoong.

After breakfast, she offered to drop everyone home since she was the only one with a car and went into her room and came out wearing a pair of jeans with the t-shirt tucked in. Seonghwa noticed her bedroom was apparently the one he woke up in. he wondered if they shared the bed and cursed the amount of alcohol he took last night that he couldn't remember anything. But the impersonal state even her bedroom was in was a bit concerning for him.

"Seonghwa, I have your shirt washed and dried, shall I bring it?"

"No, you keep it. You look better in it." He went away towards the door where Hongjoong and San were talking but not before ruffling her hair. Sadly, he missed the light blush that coated her cheeks at that gesture.
