Hey there pals! This has nothing to do with the book, book it is equally horrifying. Sorry it's long but please read. A lot of you may not have heard about this, and maybe not a lot of people on here will, so I'm taking it upon myself to spread the word, a Polish LGBTQA + person There's vast homophobia, especially promoted by the most influential people of power in Poland. I will show some articles in a sec, but let me give some context. Poland has always been a very religious and very conservative country (think UK in 80-90s with LGBTQ rights). The Pride parade in Białystok was attacked with violence and abuse. The archbishop of the country is also a massive homophobe, declaring the LGBTQ+ rights movement an act of terror, of violence, and even calling it "the Rainbow Plague". It is so horrible, the oppression and discrimination is so huge, it's vile.

There's a hashtag on twitter and Instagram helping to raise awareness, show some support: #jestemlgbt (It translates to "I Am LGBT") 2. Spread the word. 3.
