Because It's You and Me.... Forever

I'm going to write in the third person from now on because it's just so much easier

MAL AND THE VK'S were in Remedial Goodness waiting on the Fairy Godmother to arrive. Y/n hadn't been to class since the game. Mal was in the middle of explaining this so called curse her mother had put on the twins.

"Do you think that's the reason that Y/n's all over Chad now? Do you think the love potion on Ben somehow affected her too? It would certainly explain a lot" Evie wondered aloud.

Jay reached up to pat Carlos on his shoulder, "Hey man, look this means that the princess might not be as two-faced as she appears, this is a good thing." Carlos just shrugged him off. He wanted to believe it to be true. He so desperately did, but he had learned that no one had ever treated him any differently than just the son of a villain, why should Y/n be any different.

When Carlos didn't respond and continued to pet Dude, Evie spoke up, "Hey look I'll go to the library this evening and do a bit of research on this curse, to see if it's affected by potions ad spells, okay?"

This cheered Carlos up a bit.

"And if it isn't, well then we know that ms. goody goody is not any different to good old Audrey" Mal was cut off by the Fairy Godmother wheeling in a large television, stating that she had a surprise for the VK's.

BEN HAD BEEN LOOKING ALL OVER for his sister ever since he had got back from his date with Mal the day before. When the love potion had worn off in the enchanted lake, everything suddenly made sense to him. His sister's unusual behavior, and her sudden change in personality. He had all but given up on finding his sister when he remembered their old tree house on their castle grounds that the two would hide out in when their father would get mad at them. They would comfort one another and recite their mantra. They hadn't said it in so long, and Ben regretted that now. So he headed to the tree house that he hadn't been to in years, in order to help his twin.

Ben found her in the corner of the tree house staring out at the Isle with a sad look on her face. Tears stained her cheeks, as she refused to wipe them, but she had long run out of tears.

Y/n had felt like she awoken from a very bad dream when Ben was on his date with Mal. It had all hit her like a train. She had been so horrible to Carlos and to Ben. She couldn't face either of them, although she knew she should apologize she was utterly bewildered on why she acted the way she did. 

When Ben had found her he just sat opposite her in silence for a few minutes. He knew the spell had been lifted from her too so he knew that she would be feeling terrible. Y/n had always been one to hate hurting people's feelings, she prided herself on being a good person.

Y/n was first to speak.

"Look Ben I am so sorry for what I said to you yesterday, I have no idea what got into me, please forgive me, I'll do anything."

"Y/n, Y/n look at me, calm down, it's alright" Ben said cutting her off, "I know you didn't mean it, look the reason you were acting so strange is because Mal gave me a love potion and it must of affected you too, giving you a sort of tunnel vision towards Chad, you wanted to please him. that's why you acted the way you did"

The princess breathed a sigh of relief before pulling Ben into a hug already feeling much better. However she then remembered something that Ben had told her and pulled away so she could look Ben in the eyes. "Wait what do you mean Mal spelled you?  Why would she do such a thing?"

Ben shrugged his shoulders, "I'm not sure really, I can only thin that she had a crush on me, and because I was with Audrey she didn't trust that it could happen on its own"

"Well do you like her now that your not spelled anymore?"

"You know what Y/n. I think I actually do, so please don't say anything to her, I'm going to wait to confess to her til the Coronation, to see if it is going to go anywhere"

"Yeah no problem, that gives me enough time to come up with a proper apology for Carlos"

Ben brought his sister into a hug, "You'll figure it out, you always do. Come on we've got loads to do before Family Day tomorrow." Ben said standing up offering his hand out to his sister. Y/n took it, straightening out her dress as she did so. Before she just climb down the ladder however, Ben called out to her, "Hey", Y/n turned around to see her twin holding out his hand as if he was about to carry out a 'bro-shake', 

"Because it's you and me"

Y/n smirked happily, at the mantra that the twins had made up when they were small to remind them that they always had each other. Y/n grabbed Ben's hand before completing their mantra...

"Forever."
