27- the trial

The trial started, I left kusuo alone, eyeing a scared Agatha, I smirked, knowing this would all be settled soon. I sat next to kai, feeling a little guilty but knowing it was for the best.

-let's start!- everyone got up, looking how two water soldiers made their way where kusuo was, taking him by the wrists, and handcuffing him, I scoffed, both kusuo and I knew that couldn't stop him, but he still kept them on, just for respect, everyone sat down again, looking interested at the court room.

-the accused, known as Saiki Kusuo, the judge, goddess Agatha- I rolled my eyes -and the court room, please up- I stood up, knowing I was supposed to.

-okay, then shall we start?- the god who was reporting said, people cheered, others gasped.

Kusuo gave me the look, which meant I had to start putting my head in the game, concentrating myself and trying to figure out all the powers i could have, Agatha was speaking, everyone was watching, but I was feeling, I needed to. I put my head blank. And suddenly, felt the most terrifying voice in my head.

-you know me- he said. I gasped, sweating a little, kai asked me if I was fine, but I was too concentrated to respond.

-who are you?- I asked.

-you know me~ he chuckled

-hades, what do I have to do?-

-mmmm why should I tell you? You know me-

-I-I need to stop this, I need to stop the thing you started!!-

-you killed your wife, you killed your friends, you killed the mortals, the people we have to take care of!-

-c'mon! They deserved suffering, we in here fight with lost, with pain and sorrow, and they will never care! It's so easy for mortals!! Ungrateful people-

-they don't! We know everything, we have everything, they... they don't know shit, it will never be easy for mortals! You never knew them, you never cared for anyone! Just... just you!-

-I did!! I cared for her!! She was the only one who truly loved me! Everyone just wanted my power, my wife, my greatness, she loved me, and you?? Not even in your mortal life you got a single "I love you" never! Everyone hates you! Everyone hates death!!- I cut him off.

-she loved you... he loves me... i just have to think of him then? I just have to say his name?? Of the only person that loves me??, death is not a bad thing hades, is a natural thing, it's just you! You killed everyone with violence, death is not bad, death can be peaceful too, death...death it's normal-

I opened my eyes, seeing everyone shouting profanities, curse words, throwing things at the love of my life, and I felt the power all the power. This was it, the moment of truth, just him and me, just kusuo and I.

Grey smoke came out of everywhere, Amon appearing into my hand again, everyone panicked, everyone looked at me, who was flying involuntarily, everyone was scared, except kusuo, he looked at me happily, proudly, he sighed, closing his eyes, and took his hp off, I smiled, ready for him to join me, but then, he lost color, he lost power, I felt it, I felt his vibe, he didn't had anything anymore, he wasn't him anymore, he-he was leaving me... he was leaving me!! I screamed, thunders, storms, lava, water, everything was accumulating, everyone was running, leaving, screaming, but not him, he was dying, but you could only see his smile, his face, his pretty features looking at me, just at me. He threw the ho at me, me catching it by luck, He closed his eyes, I was crying, he looked one last time at me, and while I was a crying mess, he mouthed

"I love you"

-kusuo- I murmured.

And everything blacked out.
