Taking his star shaped cake, Sora finished up his decorations and finally let it down on the table, proudly done. He simply hoped for Kairi to like it.

Kairi stared in wonder at Sora's adorable treat as she washed her equipment. She was honestly quite surprised and Sora could notice how proud she looked. Mission success! The brunette quickly celebrated his victory in his head until a certain annoying twin passed behind him and hit him in the head, totally unintentionally. "Hey!" The other twin shouted at the blonde as he simply continued his walk towards the sink.

"Go wash your stuff. There is only 3 minutes left to this class." Roxas told his brother, letting the water drop in his bowl. Sora blinked once and then twice. There was only three minutes left? How about the taste testing? Confused as always, his gaze went on Kairi who wasn't surprised at all. Kairi could only sigh.

"You should really learn how to listen sometimes." The girl closed the sink and placed the equipment back where it belongs before sitting next to Sora who hasn't moved a muscle. "The cupcake gets refrigerated for the class after us. They'll taste and evaluate us before knowing who did it. No favoritism." The red head brushed her hair to the side. Sora's eyes widened. He just made the worse mistake of his life. Slowly panicking, he felt horrible. The fruit isn't always seen as romantic. This fruit isn't always seen as romantic. He repeated this sentence at least fifty times in his mind. The worse that could happen was to always cross paths with the person who ate it. No biggie. "Sora? Are you okay? You're sweating... a lot." He heard his best friend ask. He couldn't let Kairi know about his mistake or she was to tease him till eternity!

He roughened up his voice and gathered his courage. "Oh no, it's fine. I just got worried. I mean, what if my cupcake wasn't good enough for that other person?" He gasped in worry. Kairi, not hesitating one bit, simply smiled and placed a hand on his shoulder for comfort.

"I'm sure it's going to be fine. It looks great after all." He could feel himself loosen up thanks to her even though it didn't really helped his situation. She was too nice for her own good and that's what he likes about her. He thanked her and proceed to take care of his own equipment with Kairi offering to help. It quickly got taken care of and before they knew it, the bell rang. All students placed their cupcakes in the fridge situated at the end of the classroom as instructed and made their way out. Leon sighed at the sight of the three last students. They were comparing cupcakes. Why couldn't they rush out like the other students? All he wanted was some peace for at least 15 minutes.

"I'm pretty sure mine is the best." Roxas flexed as he softly placed his cupcake in front of the others. Sora could not deny how great it looked. The cream looked puffy and the cake itself looked crunchy. Kairi and the other twin couldn't help but to drool. It also smelled really good. "But mine's cuter don't you think?" Kairi crossed her arms, trying to beat Roxas in a criteria. She couldn't. Roxas was too good of a chef and she knew it. At least she tried. After arguing for like, a minute, they both turned to look at Sora's which was still sitting on the counter. Roxas was pretty much impressed.

"I thought you hated cooking classes. Had a change of heart thanks to my speech?" Sora could see his brother's ego just bursting out. The small boy rolled his eyes with exaggeration which sent Kairi into a laughing session.

"Nah, I just heard instead of science classes and it scared me." Sora grinned without knowing what was behind him. Kairi was still laughing, so she couldn't have noticed. As for Roxas, he quieted down and tried to warn his twin about the teacher behind him. "If you three have time to chat, you probably have time to also get the fuck out of my class." Sora jumped as he heard his teacher's familiar voice. It was his cue to leave. Sora quickly turned around in a second and made his way to the door after passing by the tall man with crossed arms. "Don't worry Mr. Leon! I'm out!" Sora smiled and disappeared behind the wall. Squall couldn't help but to sigh for what felt like the thousandth time today. He glared at the other two.

"We were on our way Mr. Leonhart!" Roxas and Kairi both shouted at the same time, running out of the room to join Sora outside. The three kids left and Leon gazed at the cupcake. They forgot to put it in the fridge.

As the blonde and the girl passed the frame door in a hurry, they both roughly stopped in their tracks as the brunette grabbed his brother's arm. "I need your help Roxas." Sora had the guts to ask. He just had to tell someone about his mistake and the only person he could trust was his twin. The blondie was about to complain about the time they had left, but eventually gave in to the puppy eyes the spiky head gave him. "I hate when you do that..." Sora celebrated in his head.

As Kairi made her way to the cafeteria to join their group of friends, Sora suddenly grabbed both of his brother's shoulders, letting out a loud sigh before speaking. Roxas was starting to have a bad feeling.
