chapter 19: one week

Veronica's POV

As Archie and I walked into our bedroom, we saw a pile of envelopes on our bed. There was a note on top that said

"mail these out to your guests for the wedding. Make sure to invite all family and friends. There are invitations already in the envelopes, you just have to make a list. -Fred"

A- "We better get to work then"

V- "Ugh"

Archie and I started writing a list of people. Our friends first then family. It took us till three am.

A- "Alright. We're done."

V- "Who's going to mail them?"

A- "Your mom and my dad I guess. They're the only ones with the adresses"

I then made us coffee to stay awake

V- "So what song are we going to dance to at our wedding?"

A- "Erm. I dunno." He shrugged

V- "How about "A thousand years by Christina Perri"

For some reason that song always felt so romantic to me. Like it was made for a first dance

A- "I'm not a dancer but okie"

V- "Nighty night"

We went to sleep

Day #83

The wedding is in seven days and in getting really nervous. My mom and dad flew in last night and today my mom and Fred are mailing the invitations on "short notice". The Andrews own a private business jet, so all week the jet will be flying to pick up the ones who can't get flights.

A- "Ronnie I'm heading to Jugheads house. I'll see you later"

V- "Okay have fun"

I then started ordering decorations and just add ons for the wedding. I was on an app ordering custom wedding cards and organizing who sat at what table

Of course our party is going to sit at our table.

Then I called Betty

B-"Hey Veronica"

V-"Hey"

B"What's up?"

V- "I wanna come overr"

B- "U can"

V- "Okay I'm comin bye!"

I arrived at Alice's door

"Hey Alice"

"Oh hey Veronica come in"

C- "Veronica"

V- "Hey Cheryl"

C- "Come upstairs"

Then I hear

"You're so damn annoying!"

C- "Oh Charles and Polly are fighting once again"

V- "Ha, what about"

C- "what color pillows we put on the couch."

V- "Oh?"

B- "Hey V"

V- "Hey!!"

B- "One more week until you're Veronica Andrew's!"

V- "Ugh!"

B- "What's wrong"

V- "You just reminded me of the arranged marriage thing"

B- "sorry?"

V- "Its okay, guess what"

B- "what?"

V- "When me and Archie move into our apartment, we're getting a puppy!"

B- "How cute!"

B- "I also have exciting news!"

V- "Whattt"

C- "What is it cousin"

B- "Me and Jughead are going to start saving up for an apartment!"

C- "OMG I was just about to say me and Toni are doing the same!"

V- "Omg yay!!"

After that Cheryl and Betty started making a song list to play at the wedding. It mostly consisted of "Pray for the wicked" and "When we all fall asleep where do we to" songs.
