chapter 24: the wedding pt1

Veronica's POV

Day #90

Today was the day of our wedding. I woke up to the sound of Betty sounding like she was puking her guts out.

I checked the time, it was only five am. I went to go check on her

V- "B?"

B- "Yeah V?"

V- "Everything okay in there?" I said opening the door

B- "I'm fine." It sounded like she was crying while gasping for air

V- "Are you sure? You haven't been feeling well for like two weeks"

B- "I have, it's just nerves. I'll be fine, go back to bed"

V- "Okay, goodnight"

B- "Night"

I left and just as I was about to go to sleep, I heard Betty talking to someone. I assumed it was Jughead.

A few minutes later she came out and I pretended I was asleep. Shortly after that I fell asleep.

A few hours later, I heard the alarm I set go off. It was set for seven am.

I groaned and saw that the alarm woke up Betty

B- "Good morning"

V- "Morning" I said tiredly, wanting to go back to bed.

V- "Are you feeling better?"

B- "Yeah. I think it was just stress"

V- "If you say so"

Soon after that I got up and took a shower. It was a pretty long one.

I soon came out and Betty was on the phone, shortly after that she hung up"

B- "Okay so we have to be at the makeup salon by nine- thirty, the hair  by eleven- thirty, and me and Cheryl have to make a stop at the balloon shop by twelve- thirty."

V- "Sounds great. Have a shower put on some clothes and be ready to go to the makeup salon by nine"

B- "Okay. Cheryl, Toni, and Katy are going to be here by eight thirty. They are just in the lobby having breakfast"

She then got in the shower and I texted Archie

V- "I'm scared."

A- "Of what? Don't tell me Jughead hired a clown to come to the wedding"

V- "What? No I mean of getting married. I am only nineteen!!"

A- "Well me too. I love you though, cya at our wedding gorgeous"

V- "I love you too"

Soon after I heard a knock

I answered the door, it was Cheryl, Katy, and Toni

C- "Hows our bride to be?"

V- "She's losing her mind"

T- "Don't worry V, you'll do great"

K- "Also, we ran into your Abuelita in the lobby. She is super nice by the way"

V- "I know she is. Now c'mon, we have to get going"

C- "I'm soo excited!"

B- "Me too Cher"

I started driving to the salon, it only took us about ten minutes to get there

I walked up to the front desk. This was New Yorks award winning makeup salon

V- "Hello. My name is Veronica Lodge, I'm here to get me and my girls makeup done for my wedding"

R- "Ah yes. Your appointment is in fifteen minutes, we'll call you up"

R- "How many of you?"

V- "Five"

R- "Alright"

Then we all sat down and waited to be called up

A- "We can take three people now"

V- "Toni, Katy, and Betty will go"

The three of us sat down. The girls were all getting the same makeup done.

Finally they got Cheryl, Betty, Toni, and Katy's makeup done.

They got blue and silver eyes, with a baby pink lipstick

When the girls all finished, it was my turn.

I went with more bridal girly colors.

We payed, then we headed to the hair salon. It was eleven o'clock so we were a bit late, but that's okay.

They soon called up Betty, Katy, Cheryl, and Toni

They all got matching bridesmaids updos.

My hair was down, they curled it a bit and added alot of hairspray.

B- "Wow V you look beautiful!"

V- "So do you all"

T- "Okay so Betty and Cheryl have to stop at the balloon store, and then drop them off at the reception?"

C- "Yes, we'll be right in and out"

We then stopped at the balloon store, they came out with like a hundred balloons. Then we dropped them off quick at the reception

After that we headed to the hotel again, where our dresses were.

It was already one thirty by then, we ordered hotel reception for lunch

T- "I feel like I haven't had taco's for so long"

C- "I'm vegetarian, so I haven't tried tacos"

T- "You're missing out"

V- "Alright. Go get your dresses on and then I'll need you guys to help me put mine on"

B- "Okay"

Shortly after they all were changed

V- "You guys look so beautiful!"

I then started taking like a million photos

B- "When do we have to be at the ceremony thing?"

V- "By four"

B- "You can put on your dress at three, just so you don't get anything on it"

K- "Good idea"

T- "Guys Jughead just texted me that they're picking up the suits and ties"

B- "Just now? What have they been doing all morning"

T- "Jughead put on his story that they were playing video games, sounds like they're getting so much done"

C- "Oh boys, they disappoint me"

V- "At least you aren't being forced to marry one!" I laughed

K- "Archie will grow up over time"

About an hour past and I got my dress on. I walked out of the dressing room (yes it's a mega suite) and everyone started crying

K- "oh my god ima cry"

C- "V OH MY GOD"

V- "I love you guys" I then started twirling around

B- "Hiram just texted Veronica that they are on there way to the wedding, traffics bad so leave now"

K- "Okay, let's get this party started!"
