When I saw the light of the sunrise through my sky window, I immediately jumped out of my bed and walked over to push my curtains away from my window. My eyes darted to Emma's room, and there, behind her limpid window pane, I saw her beautiful smile, glittering as bright as the sun on the ocean.

She looked at me expectantly, and cocked her head to the side, asking, What are we doing today?

I lifted my hands and stretched out my fingers to tell her, Give me ten minutes.

She nodded, and I turned around and grabbed my already prepared picnic basket.
