"Ano na? Ang oras ka darating? Alam mo ba kung ilang beses pinitik ang noo ko kagabi dahil umalis ka?" Litanya ni Nath sa kabilang linya.

Tsk. Hindi pa nga ako ready eh. Ni hindi ko nga alam kong ano isusuot ko. Duhhh? Ang dami kong long gown na binili ni Steven kahapon, pumili raw ako ng maganda eh, maganda naman lahat, ang hirap pumili.

"Eh kasi...."

"My god, Ate! Don't tell me, you change your mind again? Please tell me you'll come. Ako ang malilintikan kay Kuya!"
She exclaimed outrageously.

Gosh! She's making me feel anxious.

"Pupunta ako, Nathalie. I...I just don't know what to ...wear."

"W-what?" Bigla kong nailayo sa tenga ang phone. Damn her for shouting. "Ate naman! Seve told me Kuya Steven brought a lot of gown yesterday and I know they are all beautiful. Just choose one. Come on! You'll look good whatever you wear. Kahit basahan pa yan!"

My eyes automatically rolled 360 degrees.

"Dadaanin mo ba naman ako sa bola, talagang hindi ako maniniwala sayo." I puoted.

"Ugh! Just come! Kahit mag jeans ka! I'll call you later."

Then she hang up. Natawa ako sa sinabi niya.

"You're not ready yet?"

Nakahilig si Steven sa pintuan.

"I don't know what to wear."

Tumawa siya. "Seriously? We've been into different events out of the country, and now you'll tell me you don't know what to wear?"

Inirapan ko siya. "Wear that black one." Turo niya sa isang black long gown na ang haba ng slit sa gilid at backless.

"Are you even serious? Yeah, like I was wondering why you bought that? Hindi mo nga ako pinapasuot nang backless lang sa states eh, yan pa na may slit ang haba pa."

Tumawa siya at lumapit. Kinuha niya ang gown sa bed at binigay sakin.

"Malamig kasi dun." He chuckled.

"Are you for real?"

Tumango siya at lumabas. "Time to flex, honey."

My mouth fell open. Time to what? Flex? Oh my god! Why do I have to show off?  He's really getting weirder by the time we came here.

I was driving on the way to our house when my phone rang. And I'm not mistaken it's Nath again.

"Yeah?"

"Where are you?"

"Coming, Nath." I sighed.

"Where exactly?"

Napangiti ako. "I'll be there in..15 or 20 minutes."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah. Don't worry. Sisipot ako. Besides, the party's not for me."

She sighed. "Yeah, about that, there's a problem. And I guess you have to hurry."

"What happened?"

"Uhm naturally, the party is for Kuya but since he knew that you came by yesterday, he drag you with it."

"What?" Napatapak ako sa preno ng wala sa oras. "What do you mean by drag? Don't tell me?" Hindi siya nakaimik kaya napamura ako.
