Chunin exams

Me and team seven walked entered the room so we can register for the chunin exams and I was watching with interest as lee Tried to let his squad pass into the room but two chunin henged as genin were blocking the way for most people that' are trying to enter however most fail to notice the genjutsu however my pal the cocky Uchiha thought it was wise to announce he knew it was a genjutsu to everybody present.

He and one of the henged chunin were about hit each other however lee caught both the fist and leg stopping the strikes. Neji immediately chastised him from blowing their cover. Lee then challenged sasuke to a fight for Sakuras love. After the one sided fight lee was punished by guy for almost using flying lotus on a fellow leaf ninja. He then looked at me and said the names of the people he wants to fight then before. Leaving turned around to look at us to say I was also someone he wanted to fight.

  Afterwards all of the leaf genin were waiting for the first part of the exam in the back of the room talking. I watched on as everyone of them caused a spectacle getting the attention of an older leaf genin  whom introduced himself as kabuto. After explaining how it's better to not draw attention to yourself he then talked about how this is his seventh exam attempt. He then explained his ninja cards he had and my fellow academy graduates asked his information on certain people such as gaara, lee, neji, sasuke, then shikamaru spoke up.

Shikamaru " I'm interested in the information you have on (y/n) (l/n), given he was the top of our class and he is the only person here without a team."

His final words gathered everyone's attention on me as the room now saw me as easy prey except for the few who know me. Kabuto then stated all the genin missions I went on as well as how I'm squad less. But this information didn't seem to fully satisfy a few people.  However sasuke and neji seemed particularly disgruntled by the lack info on me.

Soon the insteuctor came in and gave us the first part of the test not before kabuto got air punched.

I aced the exam perfectly but turns out it wasn't needed as we just needed to be brave enough to continue onto the tenth question.

Onto the second part of the exam we were told to go to the forest of death. I could tell Naruto was happy because this is were we used to live. I told him that he could bring his team to our old home if they are in an emergency. After that we revived our scrolls and were sent into the Forrest. I decided to spend the Mac time in the Forrest for nostalgia purposes but on the third day I heard someone close to my area so I wrapped them up in my special chakra coated ninja wire. I was interested to see the person I caught was the kabuto guy. I decided to reveal myself to him.

(Y/n) " hey kabuto long time no see. But I'm afraid I'll be taking your scroll"

He sighed

Kabuto " it's in my back left pocket "

I looked in and saw he had four scrolls. So I grabbed the one i needed and left the others with him I then released him.

Kabuto " why are you releasing me without running I could fight for my scroll back you know?"

(Y/n) " it's because I can tell you have a ulterior motive for being in the exams you're either a spy or just a appointed information gatherer. You could easily break through the ninja wire I used, because on file I read you were the adopted son of the chief medical officer of the leaf, so a chakra scalpel is probably second nature to you. But instead of overthinking things and assuming your an enemy spy which is quite possible. Id rather just say to hell with it and assume your a chunin who is tasked with watching over new recruits and gathering information. Either way I honestly don't care as long as you don't harm my loved ones I'm good, so just stay away from Naruto, sasuke and maybe even lee unless your gonna help them ."

Kabuto  watched me with a deadly gaze  throughout my speach

Kabuto " I'll keep that In mind "

He then ran away  into the Forrest.

I then decided to say fuck it and spend the rest of the nights in the old beneath the tree house. It was nice and cozy as usual but I decided to use wood style to liven it up a bit with now better furniture and I extended its size as well as made it so the entire exterior was now wood instead of dirt. I also added chakra lanterns. I spent the rest of the time playing on the newly made chess, checkers and shogi board against clones and needless to say it was a riveting experience to face rivals who matched my intellect I could even say I grew in wisdom, which is a big deal being in the wisest being to ever live hell I could tell kabuto was a spy and not a chunin disguised. I just was to uninterested in it as it doesn't involve me I also wanted to mess with his mind a bit and make him question his undercover skills.

I decided I had enough time in my little house so I went and turned in for completing the objective. I was met with a chunin that basically said good job and then we went on to preliminaries as I was the last person to arrive but everyone was shocked that I was uninjured fully clean and calm even though I arrived at the very last minute.
