The village has been rebuilding its damages and trying to continue missions at a high rate in order to show that even without a hokage that it is still as strong as it was before the invasion. The advisors even begged me to take on a few dozen S rank mission to show the villages strength they even decided to make me an unofficial tokubetsu Jonin until I can be given an official rank by the hokage or daimiyo. They even used My newfound Fame and infamy as the Soul harvester to their advantage by having me complete my missions with my signature style, crosses, decapitations, my mask and my scythe. So my reputation has begun to grow rapidly.

However my current mission is different from my previous ones. They want me to accompany Jiraiya and Naruto, too find  the only female Sanin tsunade. The reasons are so we can retrieve her so she can become the new hokage. They are sending me with Jiraiya and my favorite Uzumaki because they hope with the combined renown of the veteran toad sage, and the new but lethal soul harvester it would make the akatsuki weary to attempt to capture Naruto, they also sent me because they are aware that even if Jiraiya is defeated nothing would stop me from protecting the villages precious jinchuriki. You see the advisor and Danzo realizes I don't care much of what they do as long as it doesn't directly interfere with me or Naruto, so danzo has long given up on making the blond his tool, however he figures with the training of a Sanin Naruto will become a greater asset to the village.

The three of us are have just left the village and are walking to our destination, along the way the two have been chatting, training, and the toad pervert has been peeping and spending times at hostess clubs, strip joints massage parlors and public baths. I respect that despite his Pervy nature he has refused to go to the brothels despite his amount of time in the red light districts. When I asked him about it he stated that he was to amazing to need to pay for sex . When I then questioned him about the strip clubs he Spoke of how he was paying to watch the art of the woman's body and how they perform in different ways, he then justified by these were people who performed for a living without having to endanger their health by having people use their bodies. Understanding his philosophy made me respect him more for he may be a peeping pervert but he respected the temple that was a woman's body and it was up to her who to choose what to do with it.  Believe me though was I was surprised by the amount of women he actually slept with almost nightly he'd have a woman come home with him and for his credit it was always the same woman from each town meaning he actually formed bonds with the women he meats at each place and how they were more than a one night stand.

When he wasn't doing that he was actually gaining information from his informants and searching for tsunade. He also spent a decent amount of time training Naruto but didn't need to actively watch over him as he would give an example explain what he has to do and give a scroll for detailed instructions. Naruto was actually learning plenty of different things from this method. He was currently working on a lower level version of the body flicker.

A month in given our slow pace we finally gained information about a tsunade sighting at a village so we were on our way there. Once we arrived in the village we learned she had recently went to the next town which was a castle town. So we decided since it was late we were gonna rest, On our way to get two motel rooms for the night Jiraiya ran into a particular flirty woman who drew his attention and he gave me the duty of booking the rooms. After paying for the rooms me and Naruto went to the room we shared. I was laying on the bed reading Jiraiya's first and only non romantic book - The Tale of a Gutsy Ninja - .

Halfway through the book there was a knock on the door Naruto excited to show his progress ran to the door to show Jiraiya. When he opened the door however he went pale as a hand reached out to him. That's when I  acted and nearly cut the hand off if not for the fast reaction of the person. I looked at them only to be met with a hoshigaki given his shark like lappearance and Itachi Uchiha who I previously met a few times before he went rouge.
