Shaylee sat up with a gasp.
"About time, love. That was longer than usual." Rebekah said, placing a hand on her sister's face, pretending to check her temperature.
Shaylee shook off her hand. "He staked me!" Shaylee Mikaelson shouted, clenching her fists, causing them to heat up from with fire. "I will kill him!" She growled once more, her body nearly shaking. The one thing Shaylee hated more than wolves was being staked. When she was staked by the weaker type, it made her feel weak and it was something she was far from okay with.
"Calm down, sister. You're overreacting." Klaus smiled, calmly as if nothing was wrong.
"You know I hate being staked!" She yelled once more, her hands lighting up with minor flames this time. Her temper mixed with her gift can be a curse. When the original was to lose her temper, occasionally flames were to ignite unexpectedly. It's the one thing Shaylee couldn't keep under control.
"Darling, please clam down. We understand you are angry, but you understand what happens when you get too upset." Elijah said, taking an annoyed breath.
"Don't want to be staked again, do you?" Klaus teased back. "If it's the only thing to keep that mou-"
"Shut it!" She hissed, the flames dialling down with her brother's irritated sarcasm.

Shaylee sat outside on the lawn using her gift as a source of entertainment and meditation. She smiled as she picked up on a new talent. For the past 5000 years, she had been a vampire, she learnt many new things with her gift. Whether it'd be fire, water, wind or earth using only the tips of her fingers, the palm of her hand or even her whole body.
"She's an oddball, isn't she? Always outside... she looks like a ridiculous fairy sometimes." Niklaus smirked as he and Elijah watched their sister as she lay out a bed of flowers out on a field of grass with a stroke of her hand.
"Well her name is Shaylee; fairy princess of the field." Elijah pointed out, then the two men smirked.

As Shaylee confidently walked towards the cafeteria table her friends were located at, ignoring the glares from the Cullen's.
"The Cullens' just gave you the biggest dirty look I've ever seen in my entire life." Jessica looked back at the Cullens then so did Shaylee. As Jessica said, they just glared. Their faces showed confusion as well as anger.
"Our families don't really get along... a bit of a conflict you could say," Shaylee confessed, crossing her arm as they rested on the table
