Is This ... Love? Chapter 2: Break Up

SAKURA P.O.V

Class just ended and everyone laughed at me.

Well today was a great first day of school, I thought.

I signed. How come I'm not surprised that my high school years were just like my middle years?

- time skip to lunch -

"Yay lunch!" cried the other students.

The girls would turn their tables around to form a giant table and start eating and discussing about their crushes, fashion and etc.

While I'm just alone, eating my bento box.. Like always.

The girls would stare at me and giggle.

"What a loner."

So I decided to go to the roof top and ate lunch there. Thats what I always did throughout my school life.

I took my bento bod and left the room. I went to the roof, sat down and started to eat.

I admired the sky and felt the cool breeze of the wind hit against my skin.

But my silent and peace moment got disturbed with loud yelling.

"I saw you with a another girl!"

Whats going on? I wondered.

"Calm down, Ayane. She's only a friend. And I was just showing her around since she's new."

Are they talking about me? I finished my bento box..  Well only half of it. So I decided to spy.

I hid next to the wall and peeked. Yamashita-Kun?

"How can I believe you?" Ayane shouted.

"You can ask her yourself." He sighed.

Should I go? I'll pretend I was eating and I heard yelling. Well that actually was the story. I guess I don't really have to pretend..

"Excuse me?"

Ayane turned around and glared at me. So scary..

"Oh great. What do you want?"

"Um.. Actually Yamashita-kun was just helping me by showing me around school."

"Hmm. Is that so?"

I quickly nodded.

She laughed. "Like I would believe you."

What..?

"Anyways. Kai-Kun. I've been cheating on you. I just didn't want to tell you that. So I made a excuse to break up with you. Bye."

I took a look at Yamashita-Kun. I could see hurt in his eyes.

"A-Ano. Yamashita-kun. Are you ok?"

He sighed. "I'm fine."

I tried to think of something to make him feel better..

"Hmm.. Well I still have half of my bento box. Would you like the rest of it?"

"Takahashi. Do you know what it usually mean when a girl give a guy their bento box?"

What did he mean?

"Nope."

He started to laugh. W-What?

"You're so clueless. It means the girl likes him."

I stared at him dumbfounded.

"But I do like Yamashita-Kun.."

"Is that suppose to be a confession?" He sweatdropped.

"Huh? As a friend of course." I smiled.

I handed him the bento box.

"You haven't eaten right? Now eat."

"How about you?" he asked.

"I ate half of it. I don't usually finish a whole bento box. Now eat before the bell rings."

"Got it, mom." he joked.

"Waaaah?"

He laughed. "You just seem like a mom."

"Just eat."

"Ok ok."

I sat down and sighed.

"Thanks for talking to me." I said.

Well this chapter ended quickly!
