"What's wrong?" Tears quickly rush down Barry's cheeks as his heart begins to race. He throws his covers off only to remind himself that he was still naked to the core from this morning with Oliver. God, how much he missed him. He wanted nothing more than to feel the warmth of Oliver's bare body pressed against his again. Or the chance to kiss Oliver's lips once more. He'd give anything just to hear Oliver breathe one last time. And something told him that he'd never get to do any of that ever again. No matter how much he wanted to.
His first morning with Oliver somehow became his last... and that was killing him.
He holds his phone with support of his shoulder as he searches for his jeans. "W-what's going on?"
"He's hurt." Thea answers.
"He's what?" Barry shrieks. He grabs his phone with his other hand to prop it against his other ear. "Who hurt him?"
"Y-you. You did." Thea's response transitions Barry to a halt. He feels his heart stop and his cheeks flush. Feeling rather dizzy, he sits himself on the edge of his bed. He flutters his eyes to put his vision into focus. Relief pumps into his heart knowing that Oliver wasn't physically hurt, but broke at the knowledge that Oliver was emotionally hurt. Hurt because of him. "You broke his heart." Thea clarifies.
"Fucking hell, Thea," Barry curses. "Don't scare me like that." He claws onto his bedsheets and exhales deeply to calm himself. "I-I know what I did. I'm the one who watched him walk away. I am the reason he walked away."
"Yeah." Thea whispers. The volume of her words plays with Barry's eardrum- inviting a course of tingles rippling through.
"Does he hate me?" Thea's sudden silence answers Barry's question. "He hates me."
"Barry, you're leaving."
"I-I-I know," Barry stutters. "I made the decision. I chose to leave. I just, I really wished he asked me to stay."
"Would you have stayed if he did?" Barry's sudden silence answers Thea's question. "You wouldn't have."
"No. I wouldn't." Barry lies. He couldn't bring Thea's hopes up. Or his own. Or Oliver's. The relationship between him and Oliver had already crumbled into a billion of tiny little pieces. It was already over. It was already done with. Oliver was already gone. And he was leaving. He is leaving. "Can you just tell him-"
"No," Thea cuts him off. "This isn't your goodbye. I will not say goodbye for you. You will. You'll say the words you need to say when you see him. You have to see him."
"He doesn't want to see me." The thought only crushes Barry's heart even more. "He doesn't want to see me ever again."
"When are you leaving?" Thea questions him rather than sympathizing.
"Next Monday. Joe's gonna move back in and... I'll be living in Central City. I'm taking the train and... that's it. That's when I leave." A tear falls from Barry's eye, dripping onto his bare thigh.
"What time?"
"5 o'clock in the afternoon," Barry sighs. "Why?"
"I'll make sure he's there. I promise."

"Ready?" Iris asks after she tapes down one final box. She was dressed in what she considered to be 'moving' attire- a tank top and yoga pants- and her hair was held in a messy bun with a few locks falling free. The circles under her eyes had deepened due to the exhaustion of helping Barry pack away his possessions in preparation for his big move to an entirely different city. Her best friend was moving to Central City for a job and a major promotion at the Central City Police Department. She couldn't be any more happier for him, especially since they'd just recently patched up their friendship.
