"Do you like my new dolls? My cousin gave them to me!"
Inspecting Kace's girl dolls, I pretended to think it over extra hard, before I gave him a toothy grin and nodded.
"Why are they girls though? I only have boy dolls." I tilted my head and poked at the bright blue dress one was wearing.
Kace shrugged, frowning. "Is that bad?"
"Girls have dolls that are boys. So, boys can have dolls that are girls, right?"
Beaming, Kace clapped his small hands excitedly before lifting one with black hair. "You can play with this Bratz doll, if you wanna. Britney said her name is 'Jade'."
"Okay," I agreed, grabbing the doll.
Once Kace had a blonde one in his hand, I turned mine to face his on the carpet.
"Hi! My name's Jade! What's your name?"
"Hello, Jade! I'm Barbie! Wanna go skating?"
"Oh my gosh! Let me just get my skateboard... doo doo-doo doo-doo..."
"..."
"I'm back! Sorry for taking so long! My skateboard was super far away and being held hostage by these green army guys with guns."
"Wow, really? I wanna see! Where are they?"
